I decided to make the transition to soley rely on my iPad for everything & it was the best decision. I paired it with the apple pen and am able to take notes, have apps for notebooks that help me organize better. The flow of the pen is smooth, I read that many people had problems with the pen lagging on this ipad model but I don’t have this issue. I really enjoy handwriting all my notes as it helps me remember and the flexibility to scribble everywhere is awesome!

Great Tool - Adds a World of Fun to My IPad

I studied various types of stylus/pens/pencils for a long time. I finally came to the Apple Pencil to go with my IPad Air. It is like having an entire satchel of pens, pencils, brushes, and eraser in one convenient device. Because of the pressure sensitivity and virtually unlimited settings available, this pencil is worth every dime of its rather steep price. An Apple Pencil-less IPad is incomplete.

The obvious con is that it is pretty expensive. Outside of that the functionality of it is incredible. If you are hesitant about switching to a tablet and prefer pen and paper this couldn’t feel more genuine. It writes super easy with smart functioning like undo or moving and cropping text while at the same time responds to pressure and tilt. Works great and makes jotting notes or drawing a diagram super easy. It also makes it super easy to sign documents and send back. Great tool.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing the Apple Pencil is for digital artists. The pin-point accuracy, the levels of pressure sensitivity, and the sleek design are all qualities that set this stylus above its competitors. The nib on the Apple Pencil shows no signs of wear and will probably last for a long time before I feel the need to replace it. I highly reccomend the Apple Pencil for digital artists, avid note takers, and writers who want to break away from pencil and paper.

I'm not much of an artist, so I was worried this wouldn't be that useful to me but it is really solid at document review and for my very basic sketches in the notes application. I don't use it all that often, but when I do it's great to have. The battery charges very quick and the stylus has pinpoint accuracy, something that other pens lacked for me, especially those with the round rubber tip at the end. My signature looks almost identical as it does on paper and the palm rejection is perfect.

Love the pressure sensitivity, really helps with my drawings. The first pencil came defective but fortunately, a worker was able to replace it for me. Really love using this pencil because of how smoothly it works with the software I use on my iPad

I’ve been reluctant to upgrade my iPad Air to an iPad Pro, but after trying out the Apple Pencil, there was just no comparison. I’ve tried to use other styluses in place, but nothing else worked quite as well. So I mustered up the money to invest in a new iPad and the Apple Pencil. It comes in handy for schoolwork and is quite accurate. The battery life could be better, but it charges fast, so I can’t complain. It works wonderfully on my notability app for marking up notes.

surprised it's so easy to use. It was super simple to connect to the device. paired easily with device. It works with the iPad. when you touch the screen it works. I do not have to fiddle with it to get it to work, it just works. hand writing to text works well (I was surprised!) works with a lot of apps. drawing works great on iPad.

    A must-have for iPad Pro

In my opinion, there is no reason to purchase an iPad Pro (vs. a regular iPad) unless you plan to take advantage of the additional features that the Apple Pencil brings. I have found it to be great for note-taking, and in some Apps is also better than using fingers for general navigation. It is a little annoying that the Apple Pencil can't be used while charging, but it charges so quickly (literally, in seconds to get enough juice for an hour or two) that this isn't a big issue for me.

So when I bought my new IPAD I figured why not buy the pencil. so glad that I did, can't see why anyone would not, it comes in quite handy. At first I thought I'd just give it a try to see if I would like it. ends up I love the pencil. You can move thigs easier with it than using your the tip of your finger. The charge on it last for a long time depending on how much you use it.

It’s precise I’ll give it that and does have a decent charge, but the thing can get lost easily, the methods for charging it are not really ideal,

I like the pencil and it is works really well with my iPad Pro. The pencil recharges quickly. It's responsive. It's only meh for me because I don't have a particular need for it. If I like to write with a pencil or draw, I would get it but I don't do those things. The pencil also is best with a holder as it just lays around on the table otherwise. I still like Apple products so I'm rating this high as it is a quality product. Just need a killer app to take advantage of such.

we got it for my son to do his lessons for school from home. we use it on worksheets on his iPad instead of having to print and use a pencil. Because of this Apple Pencil, we also save on ink since we do not have to print the assignments. its compatible with iPad Air 2 and iPad Air 3 because those are the devices we use them on. it is so easy to pair them to different devices when we need to.

After spending hundreds of dollars on wacom styluses for iPad and Microsoft surface pens, I realize Apple Pencil is by far the best tablet stylus you can buy. It’s The most accurate and has the lowest latency and easy to use. The overall experience is so much better compared to Wacom bamboo for iPad and surface pen for surface pro. I should have bought this one first instead of wasting so much money and time on the others.

I bought the pencil for the iPad Pro with the idea that I would keep smudges on the screen to a minimum. It worked - I love this accessory! What I also love about it is how fast it charges and how long the charge lasts. If I had to pick a negative, it would be that to charge it I have to actually plug it into the iPad. Which really is not that big of a deal, especially considering how fast the thing charges. So, bottom line, I would definitely recommend this accessory - well worth the cost!

I had an adonit pixel that worked really well with my iPad Pro then I picked up the Apple Pencil and wow! I’m no artist but I do like to save paper and be digital, I’ve converted all my notes and that to digital and even creating presentations and marking up slides or documents is just amazing. I have no issues with this, some people complain about the charging but it comes with an adapter so just use that instead of charging it on your iPad I mean simple solution

It's a really cool gadget if you have to take notes or do drawing on an iPad, I wouldn't take a 100 dollar plunge for it unless you're really going to use it for those tasks. I use it primarily to take notes and it's awesome, a real game changer, I don't type my notes or use notebooks anymore, I have them all neatly organized on my iPad. The pencil is super responsive, not like regular stylus, and the battery life is great. The only thing is that it unusable when plugged in, but again, charging is quick and the battery lasts a while so it's a small tradeoff.
