I had an adonit pixel that worked really well with my iPad Pro then I picked up the Apple Pencil and wow! I’m no artist but I do like to save paper and be digital, I’ve converted all my notes and that to digital and even creating presentations and marking up slides or documents is just amazing. I have no issues with this, some people complain about the charging but it comes with an adapter so just use that instead of charging it on your iPad I mean simple solution

The Apple pencil works perfectly with my iPad Pro 10.5" (2017). Pairs easily via Bluetooth and works well with pretty much every app I've tried. Other stylii I've tried either don't work well or have compatibility issues, etc. The 1st generation model (this one) works with older iPad models. If you have a newer iPad you'll need the 2nd generation model. Still more expensive than other brands.

Overall, I like this product functionality wise. Not necessary if you plan to use your iPad to just consume information and play games. The cap for this product can easily be lost when charging and purchasing the cap assessory would be wise. A little annoying to have to purchase another assessory for a product that should just come with one and simply be part of the design. If Apple truly wants professionals to be satisfied with this product, a cap holder should be part of the overall design and not another assessory to purchase. Recommend looking for a case that has a place to store/hold the Apple Pencil as well. Otherwise, I would give this overpriced stylus 5 stars instead of the 4. :-)

This is a great device to use with the iPad Pro. Plug it in for 30 secs and it's good for 30 minutes of continuous writing. It's a great device for students to take notes, artist to draw, or people who need documents to sign. It feels really responsive, almost like writing on paper, and its pressure sensitive to make accurate edges in writing or drawing. You can simply snap a picture with the iPad and write notes over the picture or download a PDF file and write on that

The Apple Pencil is so much more than just a stylus. The first thing I noticed when I held it was that it felt perfectly weighted. As if the designers had taken time to get the weight just right. Using it on the iPad Pro feels so natural and I have downloaded apps that make it feel so right. I am really sorry it has taken Apple so long to make one but they have done an excellent job. My hope is that they'll make it usable across the iOS line because it really would be useful in more applications.

If and when you're able to find an Apple Pencil, you'll be happy with the purchase. It's a shame that the pencil doesn't stick to the IPad Pro it's an expensive device to misplace or lose.. There is little or no lag in the device it responds well while using it.. It take about 30 minutes for a full charge that last all day in my usage. I can see myself losing the top of the pencil while it charges..

I use my Apple Pencil with my iPad Pro 1st gen 12.1”. I use Horizon VMware and the Apple Pencil makes it easy to navigate the remote Windows 10 desktop. Single tap is like like a mouse left click and putting pressure on the tip is like a mouse right click. I’ve also used it for sketching a little but I’m no artist so I can’t really attest to how well the Apple Pencil works for real art work.

As with most Apple products, this pencil is no-frills, elegant, easy to use, and dependable. I have had absolutely zero issues with it so far and find it very accurate and effective. Perfect with Notability to fill in pdf forms and email them as just one example of a practical benefit of using this pencil. It took a while to figure out how to carry it around but I settled on a Stylus Sling which works great so I'm never without the pencil! Battery life is great. I just works!

We got this to help my son with his online school work. He was writing with his fingertip or typing everything. We got this so he could keep working on his handwriting skills. It’s easy to connect and we just charged it for the first time, I think we’ve had it for more than a month and he uses it about half an hour a day Monday thru Friday. It serves our purpose well.

I’m a longtime Samsung Note user but was given an iPad Pro as a gift and as I enjoy art I knew I needed to snag one of these. I am not disappointed. It is on par with if not better than the note pen. The pressure sensitivity is excellent, the tracking of strokes is quick and precise and the battery (which I thought might an issue having to charge it) lasts a good long time and charges quickly. This with an app like Procreate is a great digital art experience.

I love this accessory for my new iPad. It makes it easier and more convenient to navigate. It helps with school for taking notes or can even be great for hobbies like drawing. I can only imagine how helpful this can be for work, especially for those working in business. It's also easy to setup and use, and I recommend all iPad owners to get their hands on one.

I’ve had an IPad Air 2 for a few years and was always on the search for a great stylus so I bought an iPad Pro specifically because of the Apple Pencil. I run a childcare center and the Pencil makes my job easier since I use it for all sorts of.note taking and checklists. It’s incredibly responsive and accurate. It’s weighted well but the slick feel makes me worry about dropping it so I’ll get some sort of sleeve soon. I can’t wait to use it when iOS 11 comes out!

I purchased this for a very specific use for some Adobe apps on a work iPad Pro but have found that I have used it more and more not only for work/productivity use but also for just blowing off some steam. It works fabulous for drawing, sketching out idea, taking notes and such but there are quite a few drawing apps and 'coloring book' apps that are fun just to play with and 'doodle'. I don't know if it is worth $100 necessarily but I'm happy with the purchase.

Purchased as birthday gift for my nephew who likes to draw. He uses it all the time and has said he has had no issues with it whatsoever. He's able to make finer precise lines than he was previously able to before. Charging he said is simple. The only thing is there is a small piece that's easy to lose if you don't place it in an obvious spot when removing.

If you have an iPad pro, this is a must have accessory. The pencil charges in minutes, if not seconds so you have very little down time if it should drain. There are no cords to worry about, which is great. It connects easily to the iPad and has virtually no lag within programs. My only gripes are that the cap can be lost very easily and charging is a bit awkward if you use your iPad to charge it. I just turn my iPad upside down if I'm still using it wIth the pencil charging.

I bought this Apple Pencil in hopes to eliminate so much paper usage while in college. I take so many notes and have paper everywhere. I downloaded the app noteability and with the Apple Pencil the combo is Better than I could have ever expected!! The Pencil is very easy to use, comfortable, charges FAST, comes with an extra tip just in case. Note taking has never been better.

My niece wanted a tablet that she could create art projects on. Initially, she looked at the Microsoft Surface tablets, but after some coercing, we went with the cheaper, newer model of the Ipad that has pencil support. The simplicity of the Ipad paired with the pencil was an ideal gift, even though there was a small amount of trouble pairing the two products at first. I had to go back and check to make sure I had the right model of Ipad.

Everyone raves about this so not sure if I got a bad one but mine doesn’t stay charged as long as others said even when not in use. I have to turn off the Bluetooth to unpair it just to conserve battery it goes so quick. Also, it would be nice if there were some features on the actual pencil to due things, for example double tapping to do a specific feature or flipping it around to erase like a real pencil. If it’s supposed to have those features then that would be another issue with mine as mine doesn’t do anything special. Also the cap at the end and the attachment to charge are a pain! Easy to loose so you have to buy extra things to hold them which then just get in the way. Then one of the ways to charge it is putting it to the tablet’s charging port which really sticks out and can easily break off if dropped or bumped or you have to lay it a certain way so I personally don’t charge it that way - which is also annoying because if the pen dies when I don’t have the charger on me then I basically have no option but to charge it that way if I needed it for drawing so I find myself delaying on drawing projects until I get back home to my charger or I have to tote the charger with me incase it dies. I also don’t like that it doesn’t magnetize to the tablet when not in use which again can get lost or damaged. The only thing I find nice about this pencil is that it is very useful when highlighting something or deleting, taking handwritten notes, as well as it’s great for art/drawing. Other than that I find I don’t use it much and for the hefty price tag I would only recommend this if you do those type of things regularly. It’s too bad the second version doesn’t work with all Apple tablets as it has better features all around.
