Apple Pen that works very well

The Apple Pencil is the best stylus for the sixth-gen iPad and iPad Pro. To charge the Pencil, you remove the back cap and stick it into the Lightning port on the bottom of your iPad. This creates a very awkward scene, with the Pencil sticking out of the iPad at a right angle. Fortunately, you can also use the included adapter to charge it with a standard Lightning cable. There is, however, nowhere to store the cap from the back of the Pencil while it's charging, which makes it too easy to lose. It a good Pen if you plan to use it often.

I didn't have very high hopes for the Apple Pencil to be honest. I've tried similar products in the past and they have all performed pretty poorly. The Apple Pencil is far superior to any i've tried previously. It works seamlessly with the iPad Pro and i've been using it a lot in a work settings to take notes during meetings and conferences. Everything uploads automatically and is shared across devices if you also use OneNote.

My wife is an artist and also likes to write out her notes. This Apple Pencil works great for both programs. She can use the notes app and write out her notes, or use it in one of her many drawing programs. It's sleek, stylish, and works like a charm. Feels great in your hand. Easy to use. Tucks into the case I got for her for her iPad.

I went ahead and purchased the Apple Pencil instead of finding a comparable off brand. The ease of communication between apple products is what I love most about apple, so that’s why I purchased. The weight feels pretty good in my hand for a stylus and taking notes, but I’m not so sure about for drawing or illustration. The accuracy of the tip, however, is SPOT ON and great for when I am taking notes in class. Overall I would recommend purchasing the Apple Pencil to go with your apple product, but if you’re looking to illustrate or draw graphics, I would recommend getting a more comfortable pencil.

iPencil from Apple - what's to say?

My wife wanted a fine tipped pencil - something more detailed than the generic stylus' available - to draw and paint. These don't work with older iPads, so make sure your iPad is compatible. I just bought her a giant, super-duper iPad Pro, and it works with that. It connected instantly and runs for hours and recharges in minutes. The only complaint I have is the price ($100.00? Really?), and I think it should be automatically included with each very expensive iPad.

I'm going to get this out first. THIS IS NOT.... I REPEAT... THIS IS NOT THE ONLY STYLUS YOU CAN USE WOTHTHE PRO!!!
This is a pencil for those who want to design and draw on their iPad Pro. If your just using to navigate around the screen and wright notes. A $10 stylus is for you. But highly recommend this for artist. It's responvisness is virtually instant and way better than surface pen. My friend that has the surface book with the pen prefers this Apple Pencil.

This has been the best thing I could have purchased for school. Taking notes is now almost exclusively done on my ipad now that I can write them down rather than awkwardly type. This pencil is super responsive and puts other stylus pens I've used with phones and tablets to shame. This is a must have for anyone that uses their i pads for school.

I really enjoy the Apple Pencil. I had my doubts at first; it seemed like a gimmick. But after playing with it for a while, it really grew on me. I mainly use it for taking school notes w/my iPad Pro 10.5 inch.
It last me about two school days, or about 12 total hours of use.
My only complain is that the battery on the Apple Pencil can drain if you don't turn of bluetooth on your iPad. Even though it automatically goes into "battery save" when you sleep the iPad, it still continues to drain. Other than that, it's great.
Oh yeah. and it charges really fast, 100% in about 15 minutes.
I don't know how this compares to other stylists.

When Apple came out with these iPads, one of the big promotions was that you could use this pencil with it. Well it is an awesome pencil and works very well. You can write on your iPad just as if you were writing on a notepad. You can write in cursive and there is no lag and no issues with your arm being on the iPad while you are writing. My biggest gripe is that I think for the price of these iPads, they should really come with this. A hundred dollars is a lot after buying the iPad. But Apple is in it to make money, and there's no question after using it, I would buy the pencil again if I lost it. Its that good!

This pencil charges so fast and is super easy to use. Although the connectivity will disconnect if not used for a few days, it only takes a quick plug in to sync again. Very precise!

Easy to use. Works great! Helps with precision typing and navigation (anyone with larger fingertips knows how frustrating it is when your looking at something, try to scroll using your finger, then poof... You have been rerouted because you erroneously hit a portion of the page that you didn't mean to touch... This helps alleviate that issue).

Hi Everyone,
As a professional artist, I wanted to try the iPad Pro with the Apple pencil and it is just amazing. It is the best stylus I have ever used for drawing. It has precision control just like drawing with a regular pencil on paper. It is just the most fantastic tool to use with digital drawing. I am extremely pleased with this product.

For an ipad it's hard to beat the Apple pencil for integration. Connectivity, ease of use, and feel are very good. I was genuinely surprised how short the battery life is though. I got this for my wife, but I have a Microsoft Surface. The Surface pen I've had for over a year has yet to need new batteries, but the Apple pencil dies after moderate use. Also the cap is just too easy to lose so we bought a holder for it to keep it attached when charging. So if you have an ipad this is a good choice, just be prepared for regular charging.

The Apple Pencil is absolutely fantastic. The battery life and charging cycle are both amazingly quick and robust. The interaction of the pencil and it’s Bluetooth functionality in conjunction with the iPad Pro absolutely destroys any stylus experience you’ve ever had. It’s fast, accurate and precise. If you are used to using a stylus to write you all yourself the experience of at least trying the Apple Pencil. You will not regret it.

This thing works GREAT! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am not convinced that it's worth the price for everyone. If it were not for my teenage son using it a lot for his art, it would sit unused 97% of the time and I am a professional photographer. You'd think I would have a lot of uses for it but honestly I don't I use it for retouching on occasion and it's great for that but that's about it. For daily use of the iPad, I don't find it adds much value. Maybe that's because I have never used a stylus before?

A friend recommended I get the pen for drawing and I’m glad I did. Even though it’s a bit pricey for just a pen I find it useful when using the iPad to write notes as well. It’s a nice addition to have and I’m glad I went with it.
You can even get a screen cover to make writing feel more like your writing on paper. It’s pretty cool!

Using the Apple Pencil, the first time was a bit confusing as to how it comes part and gets charged, as I am new to this and didn’t know the top pops off and the lightening connector is the charge cord. The syncing is cumbersome as you have to sync it every time you turn your laptop on. Not sure I will use it to much as it requires you to take off its cap and plug it into the Lightning connector on your iPad. When you see the Pair button, tap it. After you pair your Apple Pencil, it will only stay paired until you restart your iPad, turn on airplane mode, or pair with another iPad. Expensive item.

I purchased an iPad and Apple Pencil combination prior to entering the semester and i don't regret it at all. Being able to write notes right then and there without the fuss of papers everywhere is convenient. The pencil is very smooth and really does the job! Charging the pencil is quick. I enjoy the feel of the tip of the pencil when i write my notes.

I had to get this one as I needed it for my regular iPad, since there is no way to contact charge the 2nd gen on these iPads. like it, and have not seen much difference in use from my other 2nd generation pencil which I use with my iPad pro. It works really well, almost feels like a real pen. I haven’t seen any type of lag and or is definitely way better than a regular stylus.

The Apple Pencil is a fantastic stylus. It is incredibly precise, in terms of tracking and pressure sensitivity. Zero lag in drawing or writing. I also have a glass screen protector on my iPad Pro, and it does not effect performance. Even if you do not draw or want to take hand written notes, the Apple Pencil is great for general browsing, swiping, scrolling and tapping. It is a little expensive, but totally worth it.
