Works great, very fast, responsive, accurate and has very good sensitivity. The only things I would change are the method of charging, as plugging it into an iPad and leaving it extended (and at risk for damage) is just bizzare and not really Apple-like. That said, it only takes a few mins for a quick charge or maybe 30 mins for a full charge. The other change I'd make is to somehow use the opposite end for an eraser rather than nothing functional.

This pencil works great, it is super precise on the iPad Pro and makes drawing very fun. Even though it is on par with the cost of the pen for windows, $100 still seems pretty steep. The method for charging it seems kind of awkward as well, apple does not provide a charging cable. Instead you are able to plug the pan in directly to the tablet , Or use a cable connected via the tiny adapter which is provided… Yet another tiny piece of plastic to try and keep track of. I say this in reference to the tiny adapter that came with my iPhone 7 to plug an analog cable into the Lightning port instead of a headphone jack.

A friend recommended I get the pen for drawing and I’m glad I did. Even though it’s a bit pricey for just a pen I find it useful when using the iPad to write notes as well. It’s a nice addition to have and I’m glad I went with it. You can even get a screen cover to make writing feel more like your writing on paper. It’s pretty cool!

I wanted to get a good tool I knew would work for freelance illustrations and the Apple Pencil works so smoothly with the iPad Pro it's astounding. No lag, excellent pressure sensitivity, and tough to boot. (I've dropped it a few times.) The Pencil can get me through several hours of drawing over a couple weeks on one charge. In a pinch it will go for 15-20 minutes after 5min plugged into the iPad. Overall I'm happy and definitely recommend.

I know this product is very expensive. I had spent a few months trying other Stylus's out. The generic, round, soft tip stylus just weren't responsive and accurate as I'd like them to be. I wanted to use my iPad Pro for a lot of note taking and decided to bite the bullet and go for the Apple Pencil. Couldn't be more happy with the performance of this. Still hate the price but it's responsiveness, accuracy, and feel are pretty unmatched.

I bought this product to pair it with my 12.9 inch iPad Pro, and I must say it may just be a must if you have any pro model. It works well and has great functionality with drawing and note taking apps. Charging the device can be wonky, but there is an adapter that makes it easier. The only downside is losing the charging cover, but I’ve mitigated that by purchasing a an attachment that tethers the cap to the pen.

I gave this as a gift. My first reaction is why does a pen cost as much as 25 percent the cost of rhe tablet? After seeing my daughter use it and the tips and all it can do? I think it is almost a steal. It really does a great job and wirh the procreate software, you are only limited by your imagination. Do yourself a favor. Buy the pen.

This is my first experience with the Apple Pencil after upgrading my ancient iPad to an iPad Pro 10.5". Very impressed with the easy pairing and setup. It also has a very natural feel in the hand and actually does a good job on the iPad screen with just a little practice. Battery life is good. The only minor issue I have is that it would be nice if it came with a clip for easy storage in a briefcase, etc.

Easy to use. Precise and accurate stylus. Cap is easy to misplace is only real con.

I like this Apple Pencil because it does charge fast. It also does feel like a real pencil. If you get an iPad Pro, you will want to buy it. Downside, the pencil is really expensive.

It moves fluidly, charge lasts a while, and helps keeps the screen smudge free. It is pricy for a pencil but I'm hoping its capabilities will increase with the iOS update

I own a surface pro 4 and compared the Apple Pencil to that stylus and all I can say is wow! The pressure sensitivity is that of a real pencil. It felt great using. My two dislikes and hope for the next pencil are 1) better grip for the pencil and a clip and 2) the length of the pencil is a little awkward to hold and when sticking it in pockets. Last but not least maybe some different matte colors with different textures.

This product is obviously aimed at heavy note takers and students. With that being said this is a great addition to the Apple line up. I bought this to use with my pro to lessen the amount of paper that I use on a daily basis. The feel of the stylus on the screen is different to traditional pen and paper. However it is still just as satisfying. Definitely recommend for anyone who takes notes on a daily basis.

I bought the pencil so I could sync my iPad to my laptop and use it as a drawing tablet for advanced programs that don't work on my iPad. I use the pen for working in Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop and Illustrator. It draws smoothly and the pressure sensitivity is accurate with the different tools and drawing utensils in each program. I've used a Wacom Cintiq tablet and the Apple Pencil is comparable to the Wacom Stylus.

I love my iPencil and I use it almost every day. However, the smooth round design really likes to roll off of almost every table/desk I have and the tip is easily bent if it falls off. I think a hexagon shaped pencil that doesn't roll is better, but other than risk of being dropped, it performs quite well.

I absolutely LOVE my Apple Pencil. I use it constantly to create designs for various art projects. It is also easily used as a general stylus. The battery life is really good. The only negative is that you have to change the tip after a certain length of time or it may damage the iPad screen. I have no idea when that is exactly. I wish there was some way for it to notify me when to change it. But overall, super awesome!

Considered buying a lower priced handwriting stylus for the iPad Pro, but after testing the best reviewed ones, the Apple Pencil is way better than anything else. The palm-rejection works flawlessly and its truly precise. My handwriting looks like my handwriting on paper. Mainly using this for notes and basic graphics, but the few sketches I've done have been easy and precise. Highly recommended this product. It's worth the cost!

My son does graphic art on his iPad Pro and the work he's been able to produce using this pencil is beyond what I thought possible. It recharges extremely fast via the lightning connector and the variety of work he can do by simply changing angles or adjusting pressure is truly remarkable. In short, you can't fully utilize your Pro without this...... in fact, they should make it part of the package, even if they need adjust the price.

This “pencil” feels great and is very responsive on an iPad pro. It has a good weight and responds well to the pressure to the Pad. Price leaves room for improvement.
