I purchased the Apple Pencil at the same time that I purchased my Ipad Pro 10.5". I haven't had too much time to play around with it yet and learn all of its neat tricks, but so far it seems like another solid Apple accessory! It responds well to ProCreate and is pressure sensitive. It is easy to write with and my handwriting looks like it does on paper, which I find pretty magical.

Bought in conjunction with iPad 8th Gen. Works perfectly, way better than any stylus I've ever used. Scribble makes it easy to write in almost any place you'd type, let alone taking "hand" notes and highlighting text. Connects quickly and easily, holds a decent charge and recharges quickly. I'm a big fan.

I splurged on the Apple Pencil for my birthday, without knowing a whole lot about it beforehand. I had one of the new lower-priced iPads that offered Pencil support and thought I'd try it. Using it mainly for drawing and taking quick notes. The Pencil itself is comfortable to hold and has been pretty accurate/responsive so far. It's been a nice addition to my iPad.

Must Have for an artist with an ipad

Apple Pencil makes the iPad Pro almost an indispensable tool for an artist who likes to draw and paint digitally. The sensitivity and tilt recognition work great there’s no lag on the iPad Pro and it charges really fast in the lightning port. Hilly downside I see is that it can be a little uncomfortable holding it for a long period of time without an added grip .

I’m a college student, and I was looking for something that would make my notetaking better. Ive tried typing them with the smart keyboard, but honestly this makes it so I can actually write my notes down, and sync them between devices. Its easy to use, and charges quickly. You do have to be careful not to misplace some small peices, but for me the price has been worth it.

This item definitely helps with not having a mouse device connected to the IPad 12.9” tablet. When doing cell size increase for Excel, editing a text or document, or quick pinpointing on a document or drawing, this pencil helps out tremendously! Battery is quickly rechargeable too. I would say that this is a great addition to using an iPad as a laptop replacement.

If you have an ipad pro and don't have a pencil then you are missing an important aspect why ipad pro is an ipad pro. It is great for artists, I am a techno enthusiast and I always knew I will buy it with my ipad pro. This thing is fluid, pressure sensitive and great for artistic work. Now, with iOS 11 upgrade there is no lag and with 120hz screen of ipad pro this pencil rocks.

When I brought the iPad Pro I brought it for the larger screen and didn't even consider the pencil. Till I went onto the Apple website and research it, and went back to the store a week later and tried it out. I really like it. I like to draw so this pencil works well for it. That's all I really tried it on drawing and taking notes. Works great. I would say if you have a Pro you need the Apple Pencil.

Works perfectly with my iPad Pro. It charges quickly when plugged into the iPad and my daughter enjoys using the Apple Pencil to sketch. Worked as well and I hoped it would and wasn't laggy at all. Battery charges fast and last several hours at a time.

I use my iPad a lot for work and the Apple Pencil has made it more useful. I use it for Penultimate for meeting notes. No more bulky notebooks. I also use it to sign sales contracts. This has been well worth the $99. It holds a charge for over a week and is very durable. I’ve dropped it a few times with no issues.

So glad to have this pencil, it writes wonderfully and is quite an improvement from attempting to use drawing tablets years ago. Functional and holds a charge for quite a long time. If you've been on the fence, just go for it. I wish it would work in my iPhone too!

I use the pencil for my artwork, but it is an amazing tool for students or anyone else that needs to do precise work on their ipad. Feels like a real pencil in your hand and only needs to be charged about once a day with heavy use. It charges in less than a half hour. I do reccommend getting a matte screen protector, it will give your pencil a nice tooth to write on and feel even more like paper.

Got this as I am using the iPad to display choral sheet music and need to be able to make markings on my scores and be able to correct them easily. The pen gives me pinpoint accuracy and the flexibility of a real pencil on the screen. I particularly like that the battery life is approximately that of the iPad, making it easy to keep both charged. Thanks, Apple!

After reading several reviews I was hesitant about purchasing the pencil as I would be primarily using it as a stylus. Many of reviews indicated that it was primary function was only within certain apps. However I have been using it on Pro 9.7 for everything and find that it works great. Very responsive easy to use only downside is the size and no easy way to carry it with you.

I alway want to try Apple pencil but now I am so glad just purchased it with my iPad and Keyboard. I use pencil everyday and it is so easy to work with from games to paper work and even drawing pictures. I love this product and am so thankful the Best Buy sales person suggested it to go along with my iPad and Keyboard. Thanks

I used to use an old Jotpen with an old iPad 2. Things have evolved since then. Like all Apple products, the pencil is sleek and stylish. My only complaints are that I wish it had a better grip or ergonomic feel to it - it's just really slippery and straight - and the extra adapter needed to charge it with a cord is a hassle. It's just so small I fear it will get lost. I understand the design from the other side, that it can be simply inserted for charge/pairing to iPad but I charge mine with the cord. It would be rad if they found a way to incorporate both into the design.

It's a digital pen that allows you to write and draw on your iPad. It has nice little features that determines the tilt and pressure of the pencil, but it's nowhere near the quality of a Wacom tablet battery-free pen. Battery charges hold up long enough for me to use the pen without interruption, but it's inconvenient having to charge it. It works. It does what it's supposed to, but it's pricey and there are other options that will do the same thing (some with less features) for less cost.
