Expensive! Seamless with iPad but limited use so far. Loose cap is ridiculous,

The Apple pencil works very well with my new iPad Pro. I keep finding more and more ways to use the pencil. It works perfectly with many built-in apps like Notes. My screen doesn't get full of smudgy fingerprints because I'm using the pencil most of the time. Apple Pencil charges very quickly and the charge lasts a long time.

Sleek, beautiful, and really feels like you are holding an actual pencil. My iPad and pencil go everywhere with me in case I need to write a quick note or draw something. Battery lasts a few days and you can easily charge it with your iPad.

Got it along with iPad for my son. He loves it, easy to take notes during class lectures, saving, organizing and retrieving them later

I have always disliked using various soft-tip styluses on my iPads and touch-computers because they didn't feel right. After all, who uses soft pens and pencils. The Apple Pencil has solved that. I don't do any artwork on it, but I use it for taking handwritten notes and signing things and it's terrific.

This pen is great! It’s very useful when you want to take notes using the Note Pad app, Microsoft Word, Adobe and a variety of other apps designed to be used on the iPad Pro. This pen is great for drawing sketches whether they are for art purposes or drawing house plans. The Apple Pen is a must have!

I bought this Apple Pencil when i bought my iPad. It has been such an ease to use! I simply plugged it into the USB connected to connect it to Bluetooth and then it worked. It charges very quickly and holds its power for days! Definitely recommend when buying an iPad!

Finally made the drive for an apple pencil. The price is daunting but well worth the investment. Truly completes the iPad experience and makes navigating much more easier. End up with less fingerprints on the screen due to using this instead is a big plus!

I was hestitent on spending nearly $100 for a stylus, especially since I don’t draw, “paint”, etc.....just take notes, but once I fired up Notability and started writing with it.....WOW - smooth as butter? I’ve tried a number of styluses and this one is by far the best....just doesn’t miss (or skip) a beat.

This is the best, most realistic, and responsive digital pen iv'e ever used!! Sketch art, and comics are a long time hobby, and I was blown away with how realistic this is. In my experience it's actually better than a real pencil. They battery life is even longer than stated, and on a 5 minute charge I can last days.

Great little tool for writing notes! I have used it, as well as my granddaughter. She used it on a notepad app to practice writing her numbers and letters. It can easily be priced cheaper. I would like to see a black or space gray one produced.

I honestly thought I’d just be over spending on something I didn’t necessarily need. But I LOVE this pen! Especially using it in notes, and signing paperwork online so I can just email the paperwork without having to copy, fax, or mail. Love that it comes with an adaptor to charge the Pen and an extra tip.

Since it is the official Apple Pencil, it works just like it should It is easy and fast to charge with the iPad and connects without any problems. The responsiveness is great as you can sign documents just like using an actual pen.

This pencil is great for use with my iPad. It last long on a charge. But you will need something to store the accessories that come with pencil. Love the fact that I can charge from the iPad or with a cord using the included attachments.

The IPad Pencil is pretty nifty and lives up to its hype. I gave the IPad Pro and IPad Pencil to my niece and she is having so much fun with the drawing programs. She says it charges quickly, keeps its charge well, and works great. I would recommend it for artists and students. Good gift idea.

it's old generation version but works great ever since bought it for my daughter's art work. this apple pencil is so much better than cheap ones you can find in Amazon. it is reliable and accurate. my daughter uses it everyday. it has killer battery life!

It's a great pencil/stylus as it should be for the price, but it seems like Apple has lost some of their design sense. The cap for the charging end is very small and prone to rolling, and being misplaced easily. It does come with a female to female daptor for using a lightning plug charger/cord, but the adaptor should have been designed to at least store on the top of the pencil, under the cap. Their intended design of quick charging, by inserting the stylus into the Lightning charger port on the iPad Pro is ridiculous and an accident waiting to happen. Don't plan on using the iPad while charging the stylus this way. I've also read that if you have a removable clip on a regular mechanical pencil, it would be a good idea to cannibalize it for the iPad pencil to keep it from rolling off the desk, etc. Apple should have submitted prototypes to actual users, prior to finalizing the design for production.

Apple Pencil is a must have for anyone with an iPad Pro. It allows easy writing if you like taking notes by hand, and is great for the digital artist. Virtually no lag when writing or drawing. The one thing I wish is that Apple designed the iPad or case with a slot to store the Pencil. Otherwise, it's great.

I would say this is absolutely necessary if you're going to be writing or drawing on the iPad. It works great for those purposes. I wish it had the eraser functionality that my Surface stylus has though. And it'd be nice if the cap attached, because that's definitely going to get lost. Otherwise, must buy.

I love the Apple Pencil because it allows me to sign document and return them ASAP, even when I’m not near a computer I can still use the pencil to sign pdf files from my iPad. Being in the Military your always on the go but this allows me to sign and return what I need, again this is a great product.
