Thankfully, there is much more you can do with an Apple Pencil than draw pictures, create cartoons, and develop electronic masterpieces. One of the first things for those of us with no artistic bent, is to start taking handwritten notes. I find it a bit rude and distracting when people bring laptops into meetings and start typing away on the keyboard while a speaker is talking. I personally focus more when I take handwritten notes on a medium that is resting on a table or on my lap. There are a large number of note taking apps for the Apple iPad Pro, including the greatly improved Apple Notes. I am able to take advantage of the Instant Notes function where you tap your Apple Pencil on the lock screen to jump into Notes, search for your handwritten text, and sketch with the Apple Pencil right in the body of your note.

This is my first Apple Pencil and I'm actually happy I bought it. Easy set up and easy use. There is no complication just a great pen, works well with my iPad 5th Gen no lag, moves smooth!

Purchased this to go along with my IPad. It is great for note taking I use the GoodNotes app. I am not artistic in any way however I have a few friends that are and they have created some beautiful sketches using the pencil. Its easy to sync to the ipad but removing the top of the pencil and inserting it into the lightning port and it will also charge that way as well.

What can you say. It does everything it's supposed to do. It's flawless with the iPad Pro and there is no noticeable lag at all. It has pressure and tilt sensitivity and as far as a writing stylus goes it's the best one you can by no matter the platform.

I debated on spending the money for the Apple Pencil but I decided to go ahead and get it when I bought the new iPad. I'm glad I did! It works exceedingly well with the iPad and is wonderful to draw or write with in various apps. Would highly recommend.

This is the best thing since apple pie for your iPad! I use OneNote extensively and this thing works great. Maybe a little pricey, but I think it is worth it hands down. Once I got mine at least 10 others at work are now using them.

This is probably one of the best purchases I have made to go along with my iPad Air. It is so accurate and has saved a ton of “typing” time. Quick to charge and has a good battery life.

This pen makes all the difference for highlighting reading passages, writing margin notes, presenting lessons in my classroom and taking notes in my college classes. It is so easy to charge, connect, and makes a huge difference over writing with your finger.

The pencil is great as a stylus and for writing, highlighting, and outlining on the screen. The battery life is pretty good, but the charge port is word. Apple resolved this issue in version 2, but my iPad only works with version 1. Really the only thing I wish it had that it doesn't is an eraser tip like the Microsoft Surface pen.

Works flawlessly: Pros: 1. Simple and elegant 2. Works as well as a real pen or pencil. 3. Quick charging. Cons: 1. No place to store it. Unless you buy a 3rd party case. 2. Surprisingly iPad Keyboard cover doesn’t have a place to store.

It charges well, pairs well, and the iPad recognizes the pencil without me having to apply any pressure. I would buy this again if necessary and recommend it to anyone interested in the product.

I’ve had no problems with it while using it. Battery lasts pretty long so I don’t have to worry about it dying while using it throughout the day. Like there’s 2 ways to charge the pencil.

I don't do graphic design or anything, but I like the pencil for what it is. Easy to setup and use, easy to charge. Helpful when taking notes. I look forward to exploring the functionality more, especially to make notes on digital sheet music.

Precise and on spot! Heard through others the quality of this new pen and went out to purchase and am very happy as this pen writes as if pen to paper as well as other features you will not find on pen and paper. So if you want all in one, give this one a shot!

My wife loves this pencil. She has been using it without issue for the last month and a half for art on our iPad. It has been a total game changer for her. Battery life is great, charging is quick.

The Apple pen works great with my Procreate app. It’s very precise, and perfect for detailed edits and changes. I like the fact that it works well with my iPad Pro and iPad 8th generation.

I love the Apple Pencil. I'm an amateur artist, and the precision it allows you to draw with is amazing. It also is a wonderful stylus that I put to use every day at school as I use my iPad to control my computer and SmartBoard. The Apple Pencil allows me to control the SmartBoard with ease. It keeps a charge for a couple days (I use the Pencil abou 7 hours each day) which is also a plus.

A must with my ipad pro. Makes drawing projects easy. Long battery life. Highly recommend.

I love this thing. It’s great for drawing and taking notes or simply typing if you don’t want to get fingerprints all over your iPad. It comes with an extra bit and a small charger adapter which is cool too. It also charges super fast.
