I am in love with my Apple Pencil! It’s the second one I have purchased. They last a really long time and the precision is wonderful. Definitely recommend over getting any other brand.

I tried a cheap stylus before getting this one and there is no comparison. The non-Apple was terrible and didn't communicate well. The Apple pencil simply works great, like all Apple products. Spend the extra money. It'w worth it.

Love my apple pencil. I’m not into art or sketching or anything but I use it to take notes with on goodnotes and mark up pdfs, which would be way too hard with a regular stylus.

I have piurchased many styluses in the past but this one works so well and especially with the Ipad. I recommend it and very highly. The price sucks but doesn't all Apple products prices suck? I am not an Apple fan by no me but it was for work and it works well.

I thought this was an expensive purchase, but after using it I can't imagine not having it. I use the iPad Pro for picture editing and the pencil is so much help with precision and is responsive to pressure for blending and burning.

    Best stylus for iPad Pro

Ok, it is the most expensive stylus, but if you've ponied up for an iPad Pro, you might as well take advantage of one of its best features, which is the ability to use the Apple Pencil. I've used lots of different stylus types, including powered ones like the Wacom Bamboo Fine line and the Jot Dash. The Apple Pencil its way superior, much better resolution, more reliable. I don't draw much, but use Notes Plus extensively to take meeting notes for work. Handwriting with this stylus is so much better, I couldn't go back to any other stylus. Fast charging through the lightning port means I don't need any other cables or connectors, and the battery widget on the iPad makes it easy to see how much battery life is left. It is a little on the long side for me, and I have to admit I like the weight, look and feel of the Jot Dash better. However, functionality is more important and Apple have nailed that.

I use this with the first gen 12" ipad and it's great, charging by plugging it into the bottom of the ipad is no big deal cause even if it's dead just plug it in for maybe 2 min and it has enough charge to complete your task and then just let it sit and charge. Yes it's goofy and risky just sticking it out but just lay it on a flat surface. Used only one of the two spare tips due to dropping it on concrete which chipped it, easy to replace when you need.

Amazing. Wish it could pair and charge with the iPad like gen 2 pencil(only downside). Great sensitivity and battery last pretty long.

The Apple Pencil is great for lots of different tasks that I do w/ my iPad Pro. I love the way it writes & sketches. Plus, the feel of it in my hands is solid & not flimsy. A definite buy for those who love apple products & want to enjoy the iPad Pro more fully.

I got this to use with a specific software that runs on RDP. the icons on the software are really small so needed very pointed pencil to make it work. Works really well. love using it and tried to use for drawing, makes it really easy drawing.

The 1st generation Apple Pencil does what it is suppose to do. Great to handle and easy to connect. After charging, it last more than 3 hours. If use throughout the day, I make sure to charge it overnight.

This has been a great addition for using various design and notetaking apps on my iPad Pro. Probably a little overpriced for what it is, but it works seamlessly and I haven't had a single issue so far.

This pen is amazing! It feels very similar to writing with a real pen. The pen has a very realistic weight not to light also not so heavy. Great for very detailed drawings/paintings. Not really used as a stylus in my opinion. Overall great product!

My husband bought me one of these for our anniversary as I like to play games and do color apps on my iPad. It’s so easy to use and charges super fast. My husband kept stealing it from me so much I had to go buy him one too.

Only problem is, it easily scratched the screen on my brand new ipad pro. It charges rapidly and battery life lasts quite a while. Nice feature: can charge directly by removing the top cap and inserting it into the charging port of the ipad to charge the apple pencil. Would be nice if the ipad pro came with an apple pencil (even a modified/cheaper version).

I would put it above the Surface book pen. Its smooth and just feels more responsive and natural in the hand. Charges fast and has a good battery life to it. I just hope for the next version they change the way they charge. I would definitely recommend buying a separate charger for the pen. That just sounds like an accident waiting to happen charging it from the bottom of the iPad.

Let me just say, if you are wondering if the Apple Pencil is the best stylus for the iPad, the answer is yes. Do not go with any third party solutions. With that said, the Apple Pencil is great! Its very accurate and charges fast. Only issue i have with it is the glossy feel, but you get used to it quickly

It’s pressure sensitive, accurate and easy to use. The only complaint I have is the pencil’s battery has to be recharged pretty frequently. Other than that it is just a bit expensive. However, it has become indispensable.

I purchased the Apple Pencil with the intent of using it with the Procreate app for the IPad Pro. I tried other styluses with the IPad Mini and none of them come close to the accuracy you get with the Pencil. That being said, if you don't use your IPad for artistic purposes, there's no real point in spending $100 for the Pencil when a much cheaper stylus can be used instead.
