Pen has been working great with no problems at all, a huge upgrade from previous generation.

Recently got myself an iPad Air 2020 coming from a Surface Pro and the Apple Pencil was the best accessory for that iPad. As a college student who takes lots of notes this pencil is incredibly well engineered, at first I was concerned about the plastic tip of the pencil against the glass screen of the iPad, but over time I have learned to really enjoy it and even prefer it over the Surface Pen. Only downside is the price, but it truly is worth it as someone who primarily uses the iPad for notes.

the flat part on the side is perfect to attached to your ipad, you dont lose it and charges right away.

Works really well, nice weight, takes little time to charge up. Having magnets to hold to tablet is handy.

This is a quick install and use. I really like how the pen charges when it’s not in use. Lightweight but not fragile.

This Apple Pencil Generation 2 is a much better stylus. The quality is great and is much like other Apple products in that it is sturdy, innovative and fits in with the rest of the Apple ecosystem. It stores and charges easily on my iPad and has a great smooth feel when taking notes, drawing or simply using it to swipe through apps. It’s great not having to have a separate cable or charger for this stylus. Great product!

This pencil is a great addition to any ipad. The battery life is amazing and the touch sensitivity is great. I love the magnetic charge feature, makes it much easier to charge. I would much rather have this version than the gen one. Being able to tap to switch between the pen and eraser is so handy for writing notes.

Bought it open box to save a lot of money and it’s still covered by Apple Care with my iPad. The pencil works as expected. The magnetic attachment to the iPad holds better than I expected. I’m a stick figure artist and have been able to create some masterpieces with it.

I purchased the Apple Pencil for my iPad Pro knowing that, for $130, it better be useful or it was going back. I take calls from customers all day long, and was constantly jotting notes in my paper notebook. The notes would get lost and easily disorganized. With the Apple Pencil, I can hand-write notes directly onto my iPad and then organize them into files to easily refer to later. For my situation it was an outstanding solution, but if you don’t already do a lot of writing it might not be as worth while to you.

I bought this pencil as an upgrade to my previous pencil when I got my new iPad. I like this one much more. The magnetic attachment to the iPad is great and solves the problem of the previous pencil of where do I store my pencil when no using it. The fact that it also charges the pencil while attached is icing on the cake. Now I don’t need to plug in the pencil into the iPad to charge. It is always charged as it stays attached to my iPad. It also seems to activate quicker and smoother than the old one.

First of all, why am I buying this pencil from best buy? Here comes a little tip: make sure that you pay attention to you apple pencil once in a while because I lost my original Pencil II several days after purchase. The pencil, overall, is a great improvement from the first generation and it is far better from the first generation imo from all kinds of perspectives. Charging it up is really easy, and it looks far better than first generation. However, considering the cost of the pencil and the ipad pro combined, it's fairly expensive to buy a new combo like this..

I was sort of skeptical about buying the apple pencil as I was told that it is not kind to left-handed people. Those people were wrong. This is an amazing pencil. The quality and double-tap features make it convenient and speed up writing/drawing. It's comfortable to hold on to and I have never had to worry about charging it as it magnetically connects to the Ipad. I don't think it is worth the 130. If it is ever on sale, definitely buy it.

The good: I love that it charges by magnetically sticking to the side of the iPad. It also works great, and is comfortable in the hand. The not-so-good: When using the iPad, the pencil is in the way when you’re holding it. I often find myself disconnecting it and setting it down somewhere, which makes it possible I could lose the pencil. Also, it doesn’t work for certain gestures on the screen like swiping up from the bottom to reach the Home Screen. You have to use your finger for that. Both aren’t terrible, but the Home Screen gesture would sure be nice if I’m using the Pencil instead of my fingers to navigate on the iPad. I don’t do any artwork with it, so it’s more of a luxury accessory than anything else, but it comes in handy from time to time, especially when you want to markup something on the screen.
