The Apple Pencil is a little pricey. I got it on sale and it works great, has good battery life and even charges quick although you can’t use it while it’s charging. Is only compatible with iPads.

The pressure sensitivity allows for varying line thickness, mimicking traditional pencils. The design is sleek and comfortable to hold for extended periods. However, it's on the expensive side, and it only works with compatible Apple devices, limiting its use. The battery life is good, but charging can be inconvenient as the connector is fragile. Overall, it's a powerful tool for creatives but might be overkill for casual users.

Writing Feel: Slick, Not Sticky The surface is noticeably slippery—not the satisfying grit of a reMarkable Stylus or Kindle Scribe, which makes precision—or just comfortable writing—feel lacking. The body is plain plastic, with no grip to anchor your fingers, so you’re constantly compensating for the slickness. Value & Price At nearly five times what you feel it’s worth (you’d peg it closer to $15 than $69), it feels overpriced. Apple’s ecosystem pull is strong, but the cost still stings. Design & Ergonomics It’s simple plastic with a clean, minimal design. The flat side does at least keep it from rolling off the table, and it magnetically attaches to the side of the iPad, which is genuinely convenient. Still, there are zero ergonomic sweet spots, and unlike Kindle or reMarkable pens, there’s no intuitive “flip to erase” feature—so correcting mistakes feels less seamless. Final Verdict If you own an iPad, this is the default choice—mainly because there aren’t many alternatives. But if smooth friction, ergonomic grip, and intuitive erasing matter to you (and you’re price-aware), it’s hard to shake the feeling you’re paying extra for something that feels underwhelmingly basic.

I am very happy with this apple pencil. It charges fast and is very easy to use with the ipad air i am renting from college. This was a pretty great purchase especially on short notice when i was not sure if it would work right away. Two months later it is still very repsonsive and easy to use, no lagging either. The only downside i see is that the tip seems to be wearing out already after the first 2 months. I do not know if this is typical for apple pencils or if i am overdoing it, since I do use it daily every week.

I've had just about every version of the Apple Pencil since they first came out, and I've always enjoyed having one with my iPad. I recently purchased a new 13" iPad Air, and it doesn't work with the older Pencils, so I had to purchase this one. It works just as well as other Apple Pencils, and it's a great accessory for your iPad.

Works great and feels nice! It’s heavier than other digital pencils I’ve used, which is nice because it helps keep the pencil in place and not slide around the screen. The battery life is fantastic. I don’t use it for hours on end, so I can go about a week without charging it.

I got my wife this pencil so she can color on her iPad and she loves it. It makes her easier for her to color and shade in, instead of her using her finger and making it complicated.

The product worked as advertised allowing me to do everything I need on my iPad with no problems. This device helps me with homework and allows me to take notes in class without having to worry about my pen bleeding through my paper or my pencil breaking leading me to go sharpen it. I can sit there for hours or minutes without having to move from my seat feeling like I have complete control over myself and my assignments

This purchase was WELL worth the cost! It has made using my IPad so much easier when taking notes. I highly recommend all students to get the Apple Pencil. I will be purchasing another one for my son.
