    I know it seems lame, but I lost my remote and figured I needed to upgrade anyway. The new Apple TV’s remote was ridiculously odd to use. I returned that and bought the replacement remote for cheap couldn’t be happier.

    Pretty straightforward, but this is good for a replacement or backup remote. There are a lot of aspects about this original style remote that are better than the newer trackpad version. This does work fairly well with the new Apple TV FYI.
