Works on Apple TV 4G (2015) and new 4K(2017)!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I lost my original remote, despite my best effort to keep it safe, and using the Apple Remote app on my iPhone was a poor substitute for the Apple TV Siri Remote. I would like it to cost less but it works. To connect to Apple TV you need to get very close the Apple TV, 10 inches or less and press the menu or other buttons and it should connect.

It’s got a white ring and raised edge on the menu button that my old remote did not. That small detail makes this significantly better than the original. Easy to pair. Just open the box and start using.

Also MUST buy a protective cover for these, we've shattered the glass on two of them from relatively short drops to the ground.

Don't go cheap

The remote I got would not sync with my Apple TV. Fortunately, I was able to return it for a full refund. I ordered this remote from Best Buy and it worked (and still works) with no hitches. It pays to replace Apple with genuine Apple.

After loosing my original remote I was worried I would have to order one and wait. Once I got home it was a breeze pairing the remote to my Apple TV and it worked perfectly!

Great controller for Apple TV

I recently purchased this because my nephews had broken my apple tv remote, twice actually. My parents and the one I had myself. Just know to be careful and take good care of the apple tv remote. Overall, works great and nice looking remote.
