This is the second purchase of this remote that I’ve made in 6 months...the touch track cracks and breaks so easily! It fell from my sofa onto the tile floor and shattered. Ugh. Of course, can’t use it once that happens because the track pad is what you use for browsing and selection. So...I need yet ANOTHER one.

This version is far better than the one that came with the Apple TV I purchased 4 or 5 years ago even though the differences are minor. This remote is a smoother fit and the more textured surface allows for a slip-free grip though it is still sleek. It’s also super durable.

Even during the pandemic and going into the store was not an option, the service was great. The remote was ordered online and when I went to pick it up, the employees outside were working effectively and efficiently to get the correct products to the correct purchasers.

I purchased this remote to replace an old one that my daughter dropped on our hard wood floor (from our bed). The remote works great, but the trackpad portion is not made for drops onto hard surfaces. I would recommend investing in a shock absorbing remote cover. They are pretty cheap compared to the price of a new remote.

I had to buy this remote since the one that came with my was dropped and broke. This remote is better and more responsive than the first. I would recommend this remote to someone who needs a remote replacement vs buy a new Apple TV, if all you need is the remote, even though it is expensive.

We were very upset when the original remote was dropped and it shattered! I really think Apple should have included a protective cover with the Apple TV kit. This remote was costly but we were certainly happy to be able to replace the demolished one without having to buy a whole new kit.

Our household only uses Apple TVs thus use these remotes all day everyday. My two year old spilled juice on one and so we had to replace it. He drops it on our hard wood floors lots and they’ve never broken so that’s good. They are expensive to replace but can’t live without them.

We bought this as a replacement for the one that came with our Apple TV. So easy to search using the speak-to-type feature, and the track pad is smooth. It also can be downloaded to your iPhone - very convenient if you can't find it! LOL

It makes my Apple TV change the channels and also changes the volume it’s a very interesting version of a very interesting thing of a very non-interesting thing that is very interesting version of that thing. #AppleStuff

I purchased this Siri remote to replace one that got severely gouged from a fall onto a porcelain floor. It’s basically the same as the old one, but I really like the raised white ring around the Menu button. Perhaps it’s just me, but it somehow seems to respond just a bit faster than the one it’s replacing.

My original Apple Tv (3rd Gen) remote was a nifty little gadget but one day stopped work/charging. I use the Apple remote app but sometimes I rather have the remote remote. This is the newest version of the remote & Siri is a nice addition!

This remote definitely needs a case! Spend the extra $10 and get a case, kids have shattered the glass on two of these already. Also would be nice if the remote had a location function, very easy to lose.

As usual apple almost got it right. Works well but the touch is hard to use and select doesn't always do what you want. Of course the worst issue isn't the remote but the new apple TV app and their software and billing issues. As at replacement remote for apple TV it's all we have and works well.

Our toddler "ate" our original remote. My wife made me go out at 9:00 on on a Sunday night to get the replacement, cause heaven forbid she not be able to watch a 6 year old episode of the big bang theory on the TBS app.

When my remote was lost, it was an easy and perfect purchase, even after I found the original remote. Great to have two in different locations of the room!

Worked well as a replacement. These break easy when you have kids. Read the directions. It’s simple when you read the directions. Buy the rubber cover. It’s a life saver.

Our family watches Apple TV and one day... before an important soccer match... we lost the Remote... I went to Best Buy, got a new remote and we enjoyed the match! The best team won :)

We purchased this as a replacement remote. Once we figured out how to pair it with the apple tv it worked great. I would recommend getting a cover for it to protect the glass, ours has already cracked.
