Can’t be used as a backup remote.

But you can only link one remote to the applets at a time. Which is stupid since you can also control it from an iPhone, iPod, or 3rd party universal remote.

Still would like to see a better version of this remote and it should not cost so much to replace it. I was using iPhone to control television but you can't control volume.
