For some reason, this replacement remote doesn’t work as well as the original remote that came with the appleTV. No matter how many times I sync the remote, functionality of the remote is about 60% of the original remote when using the swipe pad. I usually just end up using my phone as the controller.

Terrible controller. Apple really needs to improve the design so that it no longer slips out of one's hand. What are they thinking? The worst of worst.

Worked great, until it stopped working 4 months later. Bought at the end of October and at the end of January it all of a sudden stopped working. I called Apple support and they said it is definitely the remote and I will need to buy another one. I have it in a protective case and everything so there was no external elements that could have had this kind of effect. Very disappointing.

When it’s advertised said excellent condition, meaning no cosmetics issue, received with cosmetic issue. I just keep it to save the trip.

I’ve tried charging it and it doesn’t work at all after even setting it to our apple tv

They keep breaking or not working and best buy keeps replacing them.

I had this remote two weeks and my wife dropped it and it cracked. Get a cover for this remote

Easy to lose, terrible interface. Apple makes a lot of good products , this is not one of them, you are better off using your iPhone or iPad to control your Apple TV. Our first one broke down after 1 year of service, this is a pointless replacement

I bought this remote control but I didn't open it soon enough. To my surprise it didn't work, but, little did I know that I only had 2 weeks to return it or exchange it. I went to best buy to exchange it but they told me that they couldn't do anything about it. I'm stuck with a dead remote control and out of my money.

I am Totally disappointed because I bought the remote thinking it was the one from the post and they sent me an older version and it costs a lot less. You have to be very careful when buying products that are open boxes.

Second such remote I’ve purchased in the last two and a half years and just like the last one, dies for good just after the one year mark. For the price, the quality is ridiculously poor. Will not buy another remote like this again.

After a few uses the touchpad always seems to become less responsive

Really did not like this remote...of course this is a beautiful remote but dont ever let it get tangled in blankets and lost...you will find yourself picking up pieces of glass once it gets flipped to the tile floor.

There was an expected date upon ordering and I didn’t get it a week after.. Don’t say your going to deliver on the date intended then send it a week later.. Never buying from you guys again.............

These remotes do not last very long at all. You're lucky if they last a year. We have quit buying them and just use our iphones now as remotes. Don't waste your money.

"Open Box" remote never worked after multiple tries/troubleshooting to sync with our Apple TV.

Breaks way too easily . I have had to purchase 2 in the last 6 months... ugh

This is my second remote. The first one cracked and later stopped working. This one cracked only after two weeks of being used.

Like the worst remote ever invented. I lose this 10 times a day.
