Even though this is silicone, it has a great organic feel to the outside, almost like a fine leather. The inside has a soft knapp to it and perfectly protects the screen. It connects via a magnet, so all you need to do is get it close and the powerful magnets pull it in place with a confirming snap! Great cover. There are cheaper covers available, but you get what you pay for.

A nice cover. Fits very tight and has a hard cover with a latch on it. I feel comfortable that if it is dropped it will do a good job of protecting the IPad Also that latch is tight and secure and will not open by itself.

The Smart Cover is typical Apple quality. Works well and appears durable. Only wish it had a magnet to keep from falling when fold over on the bag. Otherwise I recommend it

I bought the cover to go with the Apple case and thought they should come as a set. The fit is perfect and I like the ability to remove the cover when it isn't needed. Seems to protect well and it fits perfectly.

This is a nice accessory to give as a gift with an IPad. We love the ones we have. Love the stand up and lock features. Added protection from dropping, too.

I personally prefer the Smart Case for the 360 degree protection, but this was a gift for my girlfriend and she thinks the Smart Cases are too bulky. She also wanted to be able to show off the gold back! This cover is working great for her. The magnets are strong and snap in place to the side of the iPad easily. I do wish the magnets in the edge used to make the fold-stand part were stronger, but it really isn't an issue. The leather feels nice and high quality.

Easy on and off, lightweight, not fancy, but totally functioal. It doesn't cover or block any buttons microphones, or camera lens. I couldn't ask for more.

This a very simple but effective cover for the iPad. It attaches magnetically to the iPad and the iPad automatically turns on and off when the cover is opened or closed. It protects the screen only, not the back, and does not provide any significant drop protection. If you usually keep your iPad near your easy chair like I do, this is an excellent choice. If you need more substantial protection against drops, then you will want to get something else.

This case does what it’s supposed to. I wasn’t sure about it at first because it goes over just the front of the iPad, but after using it I like it. I especially like the Smart feature. When I open the cover it unlocks the iPad and when I close it, it locks the iPad as it’s supposed to. The case is also very light. Overall a good buy for someone who doesn’t want a big bulky cover for their iPad.

Perfect and extremely lightweight. Didn’t add any noticeable weight to the iPad mini and felt really safe in protecting the front of the iPad. Using it as a stand held it a perfect angle for viewing movies. One of those must haves when purchasing any size iPad. Only request would be for more color options.

As usual Apple certified products are buy far the most expensive but usually the best. In this case, the extra buy money buys you a perfect fit, great feel, attractive look, but most importantly excellent protection. Think I will get the payback in not cracking the screen if I drop (which I have done too many times).

The cover for my iPad 4 was recommended to me in the store as being durable and light weight. So far, it had for the bill.

The Smart Cover provides basic screen protection for the iPad Mini. It is great for those who do not require the armored protection provided by some covers. It is nice that it can be used with or without the back cover. I do wish the triangular stand provided a little more height in the horizontal orientation. It is easy to clean so that is a plus.

This cover was the best addition for my iPad mini. Bought one for our iPad also. Love them both.

The smart cover not only protects the I-Pad but is handy for using the pad in a tilted position.
