Magnetic and the magnets hold well, but not perfect. You still have to be careful, as we had one incident where the iPad fell out. Thankfully, it was on carpet. Works as it should in terms of protection, if you're looking for a case to help in terms of child use, I would maybe go a different route with something more secure.

She loves the color it’s pink and I got her name engraved on it for free. It works well and was easy to transfer all her documents from her older ipad to the new one.

My only reason for the 4 star is because if you have an Apple Pencil the placement is bad when closed

This one is better. Instead of sinking the IPad into the cover, this one stays on magnetically. The Smart Folio does a better job keeping my IPad standing when when I use Facetime or Zoom.

Get this Smart Folio and not only protect your investment but look good while doing so.

So i purchased this one, she loved it and its very nice quality. You can set it up in different ways to read, watch tv or whatever you enjoy! Love it!

Apple - Carolina blue Smart Folio

I bought it as a gift and the person I bought it for loves it. Would I buy it again…yes
