I often need to open the folio for screen access without keyboard access. When the iPad is lying flat and the folio is back folded the keys are not covered or protected from the surface the iPad is lying on. The folio does not have a secure pencil holder. It depends on the charge/connection magnet to hold the pencil. Not very great for backpacks, etc.

Using this product is now a daily occurrence, and I can’t remember having a tablet without this attachment. It was well worth the extra money because it allows for more screen space.
