Though it does not have a trackpad, we like it because it is lightweight and folds behind the iPad if you want to use your iPad as a reader. Gives two viewing angles which are suitable for many tasks. Keys are very tactile and give good feedback. One downfall in the design is that the keys are not backlit for low light use. Overall very satisfied with its functionality and form.

My iPad would no longer charge using its charging port but this case allows the iPad to charge without using it’s native charging port… Also, the keys light up nicely. It’s a good keyboard folio. Certainly worth picking up

PRO - This case fits my 12.9" iPad Pro (5th Gen with M1 CPU) perfectly. It is easy to install and use. It attaches to the iPad magnetically and charges/synchronizes automatically via a connector on the back of the iPad. CON - The case offers minimal back/corner/side protection, so the iPad will likely be damaged in a drop or fall. The iPad stand positions limit it to 2 viewing angles, which are not comfortable for causal Internet browsing. The keyboard offers good tactile feedbacks, but it is still subpar to many laptops, and it lacks a backlight. Value - I bought a used one in excellent condition for $80 at Best Buy, and it looks brand new. If you need a slim keyboard case to use the iPad as a laptop, I will recommend it with 4 stars at $80 (but not at $200 MSRP). Alternative - I use a 16" HP Spectre for work and 12.3" Surface Pro for travel. I only use my iPad for reading and shopping, so I returned this keyboard case. Instead, I bought a tri-fold case with better reading angles and full back/corner/side protection for $15 on Amazon.

This case is pretty neat! Not the world's greatest typing experience, but very suitable for getting things done on the go. The keys are soft, comfortable, but not squishy or tactile, very quiet. The case magnetic and it connects to the ipad instantly, no need to wait to connect via bluetooth. The ipad attaches for the case with the use of magnets, even folds into different viewing positions and retains itself with magnetic grooves! Its feels sturdy when opened and tilted, not loose. It's a great case for anyone who does work on the go without carrying an extra keyboard. It's not cheap, of course cuz its Apple, but it works just so well!

I got this as an open box special - and its for my 2018 ipad pro - to replace out the old folio keyboard that I had since that was ripping (6yrs old) so I would say this is worth the purchase. But - look for open box specials - simply put - it was brand new - no scratches and works as advertised

Decent iPad folio keyboard. Does a decent job typing and protecting everyday usage of my IPad Pro. Price is a bit high for this type of keyboard. Will look forward to upgrading to the Magic Keyboard folio in the future. Edge are keeping up and not fraying that easily as was found in the prior versions.

This cover/keyboard designed for the IPad Pro works like a dream It stays charged through the IPad, is thin and sleek, and you never have to turn it on. It is always ready to go as soon as it is opened. The magnetic design works better than I thought, and I am comfortable knowing it is protecting my IPad while also being functional.

I don’t miss keys. They are the perfect size. And the folio is so thin when closed up. My wife has the Logitech keyboard for her IPad, one generation older. It is much bulkier than this new one made for the iPad, by Apple. And it has two positions to provide the most comfortable view whether using at the table/desk or reading while lying down.

I was going to buy the more expensive Apple keyboard, but when I saw this one keyboard folio it was definitely a better price and pretty much the same design! I am happy with my purchase works well just put your Apple iPad on and the keyboard is wireless it works perfectly. Great price would definitely Recommend to a friend!

I absolutely LOVE this iPad. Great size, very clear picture. I also purchased the recommended keyboard and am happy I did. It’s light and very thin. This works as easy as a laptop. The only drawback is the charging cord is different than my iPhone X and as a flight attendant, it’s just another cord to carry.

I mostly use my ipad in tablet form (esp. writing notes), so the magic keyboard didn't fit my use case. The best part is that it is so convenient, always with the ipad, and no connection/transition lag. As a result, it has greatly increased what I could do with my ipad -- I oftentimes use it to type and browse the web over my laptop! At first I was antsy about the keyboard experience (it doesn't type as naturally as a typical laptop keyboard), but after a month I can say that it is very usable. I can type maybe 90% of my typical typing speed/accuracy. I wouldn't use this keyboard if I had to type full time on it. But for my use case, it is perfect at making my ipad so much more useful and functional.

I think the price is ridiculously steep. That said, I love the ease of use, the raised iPad above the keyboard and ther fact that it does not require charging.

Bought an excellent open box and it has worked perfectly for us. Once I connected it the iPad automatically picked it up and was using without adding anything not even an app. Doesn’t require any charging and doesn’t seem to affect battery of iPad while using it. Few videos out there help with setting stuff up like shortcuts.

Wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. I like the tactile keys. It’s comfortable to use. It has a really strong magnet so the iPad isn’t going to just fall over. The only thing I hate is the price. Apple is always overpriced, they need to get knocked down a peg on that.

This was purchased for a new ipad. It works well just like the old one i had before. i would recommend. If you want to write on your ipad you need this case versus a magic case which will not really allow you to put your ipad flat.
