Have had the keyboard for a couple weeks, I like how the keyboard folds the keys under and hide and don't touch the iPad screen when folded up. It easily unfolds and locks into position when you need it. Setup is easy and just clicks into the iPad. Very responsive and haven't had any connection issues with the iPad getting information from the board. Keyboard is a comfortable size and the keys are silent when used. Overall, would buy again.

Sometimes need to do some writing on the go and this keyboard works great even when seats on your lap. The magnets work great on the entire system and it is easy to fold and unfold. The only problem I see is that it makes a little bit heavier your iPad and it doesn’t have back light which is a proble when working on places with not too much light.

This is decent for the Ipad Pro. It plugs directly to the Ipad and is not a bluetooth connection. It serves as a partial cover. Not bad to type on either. Good for what it is, but very expensive. I would be much happier paying $40, but then it wouldn't be an Apple product!

I saw mixed reviews before purchasing. However, I decided to take the leap, and give it a try. I've used other iPad keyboards, and I will admit, this is my favorite keyboard to date. In comparison to other keyboards, this is very compact and light. Now, it does add some extra weight to the entire IPad (which is to be expected), however, the extra functionality has been beyond appreciated. I'm finding that I am way more productive with having the keyboard always attached. In fact, I'm more inclined to leave my laptop behind, and just grab the iPad Pro with the keyboard. The key responsiveness is really great. No complaints. Others had mentioned that it doesn't alway lay completely flat. Somewhat true, sometime its pretty flat, other times it's not completely, however, I have not see this as a problem. It's nice and sturdy when I type on it. As others mentioned, it would be nice to have a few extra buttons to open and close apps, or adjust volume. That would be sure helpful. However, to keep in the small form factor, it works fine for me. I highly recommend.

With previous iPads, I utilized Bluetooth keyboards like the excellent options from Logitech. I decided to give the Apple version a try and I was surprised how cleanly functional it is, and how gratifying it is to not have to flip a power switch or tap a few keys to wake the keyboard up. The keys provide sufficient feedback to not aggravate my fingers (unlike the 2015-6 retina MacBook) and the construction of the keyboard allows me to not worry about a small amount of water ruining it. I have become a convert due to its simple activation and pleasant typing experience.

Apples keyboard and cover all rolled into one. Light. Key board works flawlessly. Cover works fine with or without keyboard being open.The only possible negative is that the cover does not protect the back of the iPad but i guess that would add weight.

Very Nice, easy to move light and quick bending. I really like this item because it doesn't add major additional weight to the iPad. I use the iPad every day for work and it is so convent to sit anywhere to type . The key number and letter etc are all well written minimal rubbing off and easy on the finger to press down. Always a good connection and very easy user friendly.d this key I recommend this key board for anyone on the go.

Great accessories to bundle with your ipad. I bought this for my sons ipad’s he loved how he can use this device in school with having the keyboard. Aside from added protection from the ipad screen this Polio serve as a stand for your ipad with keyboard tucked. Keys have great feel and travel. I took a typing test and get high score with this type of keyboard. Only downside is the price. I think its over priced from what its worth.

I have only had the keyboard for about two weeks but so far I really like it. It attaches easily to my iPad Pro and works well with it. The keyboard has a good feel and is comfortable to use. To me, it complements my iPad Pro very nicely.

Great keyboard, good quality, keys feels good, quiet, and can use it on my lap. Negatives are price and figuring out how to fold the thing.

My only gripe with the Smart Keyboard is that it doesn't lay flat, requiring a little futzing with the keyboards' smart connector groove to get it to sit as flat as possible. Even without the Urban Armor Metropolis Case, there's still an issue in which the keyboard is slightly tilted upward, no doubt from the weight of the iPad Pro. Apart from this nitpick I find the Smart Keyboard to be one of the better typing experiences I've had than with the various Bluetooth keyboards I've purchased for various iPads over the years. It's light and portable enough that it doesn't affect the overall weight of the iPad Pro while using the keyboard as a combined Smart Cover.

Lightweight, easy to set up and use, and folds away when you’re reading a book or surfing the web. This keyboard is powered by the iPad and connects automatically when you attach via the magnetic edge of the case. No going to settings to pair or unpair; works flawlessly. The keyboard is small, obviously, as it is only as wide as the iPad is tall; forget ergonomics! I wouldn’t suggest writing your dissertation this way, however, it is a valuable addition to any serious tablet user. Highly recommended!

i Got this keyboard for my iPad since I wanted something that make it easier to type instead of using the touchscreen. It’s definitely good product if your a type of person who much rather have a iPad instead of a laptop this keyboard is a great addition, since it doesn’t take as much space up then an laptop does. I’m definitely glad I made this purchase.

It's easy to tell when Apple gets things right. As a cover, the magnets in this thing are close to magical. It grabs on and stays attached like it is permanently attached. It flips open with ease, is thin, and has a great tactile feel. As a keyboard, you quickly forget that you're typing on a cover/keyboard. It works seamlessly. Since it draws its power from the iPad, there is no need to worry about recharging it. If you are a Pages user, the Smart Keyboard is a perfect add on.

I love this keyboard. It works super well. It is so easy to attach to the iPad. Since it is molded fabric there is no space for one to drop coffee, crumbs or anything else in the keys to muck it up. Fantastic!

The keyboard itself is great. The full-size QWERTY layout makes it very usable. The arrow keys aren't ideal, especially the up and down which are half-size and not perfectly responsive. It also serves as a screen protector when not in use. Very slim design. When on a surface the iPad stands well when propped-up, but it's not practical for use on your lap. The 3rd position almost seems unintentional, and after a month is still difficult to recall, but it does help when standing at a counter and looking down at the iPad.

As with all Apple products, this unit is well designed to hold your iPad as well as operate as a keyboard. It can be removed very easily with a slight twist and pull motion. I only use it when I’m sitting at a table (I just use the screen keyboard if I’m in my recliner). The keypad that fits the 12” iPad fits my hands a little better for speed typing, but I didn’t want the larger iPad. I also like the keyboard as it doubles as a cover when not using your device.

Working well for me. I wanted something light and portable, which it is. Typing is smooth without a glitch. The only thing I’ve noticed that can improve is, the magnet sometimes detaches when I try to close it, but it might be the way I close it. S

This and the Logitech are the only keyboards that don’t require external chargers. The Logitech is big and bulky, but has more features. For quality and portability you can’t beat the Apple.
