At first I didn’t think I needed the Apple Smart Keyboard for my 10.5” iPad. Glad I changed my mind and went back and got it! The Smart Keyboard really enhances the iPad when I’m sending emails or messaging or even just web surfing. And I love that it doesn’t need batteries or Bluetooth. Plus, it’s great to be able to quickly disconnect it when I want to just hold the iPad in tablet mode. Best of both worlds!

I would definitely recommend going with the Apple Smart Keyboard rather than any other Keyboard for the iPad Pro. They work great together!!

The keyboard is great for surfing the web or writing documents on the iPad Pro. I love that it protects the screen while not in use. If you are thinking of getting a bluetooth keyboard, buy this one instead. It uses the iPad's smart connector and saves battery life. However, the place where it attaches to the iPad with magnets has some issues. It scratched the aluminum on my iPad and is slowly discoloring the smart connector. Thankfully Apple offered to replace the keyboard, but I am still waiting if they will send me a new iPad for the keyboard's damage.

While obviously smaller than your standard keyboard, the smart keyboard has a very natural feel to it. It takes very little time to get accustomed to using it. I use an Alienware laptop or a Logitech K520 for my PC keyboards, so I was surprised how easy it was to use right away. I was also concerned that the thickness of it would bother me since I've been using the smart cover on the iPad 2 for the last several years, but it's hardly noticeable.

With all the new features in ios 11 this keyboard makes my iPad Pro 10.5 a laptop replacement at times. I can leave my laptop behind and my ipad allows me to do a lot of work remotely.

The Smart Keyboard is a must have for any iPad owner. The ability utilize your iPad for many of the same task typically accomplished on laptop or desktop, make the keyboard a must have.

I decided to try the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard because I was tired of having to charge my iPad and my Zagg keyboard separately. It is one of the better decisions I've made! I love it!

Makes typing a breeze on iPad. However don’t expect this to act as a shock absorber or iPad protector in instances of dropping it. It simply covers the screen to prevent scratches.

Protects screen on iPad and easy to clean spills. Low profile that doesn't distract from beauty of iPad! Although not lighted easy to use in minimal light due to light from iPad.

The design is pretty awesome, its a keyboard and a stand and also it can act as a cover of your tablet, the only problem it has its expensive

I previously had an iPad Pro with a keyboard exactly like this one and I just had to get another keyboard for my new iPad. If you plan on making an iPad a makeshift computer, it is an absolute necessity to have and is very easy to use. Just attach it to the iPad and it works instantaneously and also doubles as a cover. Best add-on to get when getting a new iPad!

Super light, compact, and the keys are satisfying to the touch. Plus several shortcuts! I only wish that I could fold it into other viewing positions, and have adjustable viewing angles for typing as well. Either way it’s a great buy.

Bought this for my iPad Pro 10.5. Imo, this is a must buy for any iPad Pro owner. Keyboard works flawlessly and is great to type on. Acts as a cover to keep the screen protected.

I just upgrade my old iPad with the iPad pro 2017. My old iPad did not have the electrical contacts to connect the the Smart keyboard so I had purchased a third party bluetooth keyboard with a separate battery. This made it twice as heavy and had a slight lag when typing fast. So when I upgraded to the iPad pro the Smart keyboard was at the top of my list of features. The Smart keyboard is light since it uses the iPad pro battery and has a direct electrical connection so no more bluetooth typing lag. Smart keyboard layout has the same size layout as my normal PC keyboard, so it is much easier to type, but the keys do have less play, so I would recommend a lighter touch . If you what the 2019 iPad Air instead of the 2017 iPad pro then get this board. Both iPad are the same dimensions 10.5 inches and the Smart keyboard fits booth. Also, if you are getting a the Smart keyboard you then should consider getting a folio case that allows for the Smart keyboard connection. Some of the older iPad cases are don't have room to allow the the electrical connection.

I was extremely skeptical to buy this because I honestly didn’t think I would use it as often as I do now. I also have a MacBook Pro which I hardly use now just because my iPad can do just as much now that I have a keyboard! Is it a bit pricey yes! But you will get your moneys worth out of it

I had an Apple Smart Keyboard for my last iPad and was so pleased that I got one for the new iPad I recently purchased. It's easy to use and it's SO easy to setup and get started. I really like not having to charge the keyboard separately from the iPad like other covers. It's sturdy and easy to use and cleans up without any problem with a damp cloth. This is the best iPad keyboard ever!

This is a great keyboard for the iPad Pro. The keys have a very nice, tactile feel to them. If I could find one thing that I wish it had, that would be backlighting.

I bought this keyboard when I bought my iPad Pro 10.5. I love that it also acts as a cover, so I don't have to have something separate to carry. It has worked quite well. The only thing I don't like is the price.
