This cord was necessary for connecting my Apollo Twin MKII interface to my Apple iMac. I was not happy about forking over another $50 to Apple. Why can't Apple have a single connection that works with Thunderbolt like windows does with USB. Still not happy about it. But it was needed and it works good.

My apple monitor uses the old display port, so when I got my new Macbook I completely forgot that they switched to USB-C. Very easy to use and I like that it doesn't dangle too much when plugged in.

Worked perfectly to connect a 2013 Thunderbolt 2 iMac to a 2016 Thunderbolt 3. Used Target disk mode without issues. Keep in mind you will also need a proper Thunderbolt 3 (not just a USB-C charging cable that ships with new Macs).

It's an Apple product for a Apple computer. Or course it works perfectly right out of the box. Just had to be sure I had the right connections.

Works as advertised - a must if you have the newest Macs that only have USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) ports. I prefer Apple brand for this sort of adapter because of the "guaranteed-to-work" nature of staying within the brand.

Work as it should, all I needed to do, was connect to my display and worked instantly with my Mac and PC it surprisingly

USB-C is not mainstream yet on Mac's so this is the only way to get Thunderbolt drives on new MacBook Pro's. Also you can daisy chain a Thunderbolt to FireWire 800 adapter to get older FireWire drives to work on newer MacBook Pro's. Worked like a charm on both applications.

Works great with a new Mac mini and old Cinema thunderbolt display. It's a little pricey but works seamlessly, including the mic, webcam, and USB connections. I tried generic ones but they don't really work.

Apple dongle there’s not much to say other than works no problem it’s easier to use Apple accessories because if you purchase one from Amazon yes it might be cheaper but it might not work

Using this to "hardwire" into the back of my Apple Studio Display which is (connected to a MacBook Pro) is much faster than using Wifi. So far so good.

This is a great adapter! I used it for downloading pics from my phone. The adapter was needed to go from USB-C to Thunderbolt 2

I bought this primarily to plug my Thunderbolt 2 devices into my Windows 10 computer that supports TB3. It works like a charm. One warning though, not all Thunderbolt 2 devices are ready for PC. My WD Hard Drive Duo only works on the Mac... get it while the price is cheaper.

Expensive, but this does exactly what I needed it to do. Have a Drobo Raid array that uses Thunderbolt, and needed to connect it directly to my 2019 MacBook Pro. Works like a charm, and the speed is better than I expected.
