i use for connecting my laptop and my imac to internet o any network work perfect 10/100/1000. very practical device.

I needed this to connect my Apple MacBook Air to an Ethernet cable and this did exactly what I needed. Great product!

This is perfect. Super easy. Just plug it in and you get a fast, wired connection.

These things are mandatory for the newer laptops that only have USB 3 jacks. I got two because I have a lot of legacy gear and cables that predated USB 3. Works fine. Lasts a long time. Won't rust. Won't bust. It's a product you can trust.

Worked like a charm until USB-C took it's place. Never had an issue.

The good news: the latest MacBook Pro models are super-slim. The bad news: that slimness means a standard Ethernet port is too tall for the machine's exterior. Which means you need a Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapter if you want a hard-wired Ethernet connection. At home I use a Thunderbolt dock which gives me that connection plus many more; but on the road I suddenly realized I was out of luck without one of these. Grabbed it up and it works perfectly with no major tweaking necessary.

My router is not on another floor so I wire connect wherever possible. I did speed tests and a wireless connection is about 50%, 40% slower than wired. Now that KRACK may be unresolved on your ISP Modem/Router, turn off wireless and stick to wired for a safer and faster connection. My white Apple - Thunderbolt-to-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter has been great. So I have seen on occasion nearly 200Mbps on a 150 Mbps connection. It is well worth the price.

This product more than met my expectation. It truly is a plug and play which connects internet at very high speeds.

I would highly recommend this little dongle over the USB Ethernet adapter for MacBook Airs and older Pros and iMacs. It's the same price as the USB adapter at $29.00, but it supports Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) speeds, which is way faster than the 10/100 Mbps max that the USB adapter has. I know a lot of people complain that the Thunderbolt to Gb Ethernet doesn't last long, but I use it a lot and have not had any issues

Easily attaches to computer and works flawlessly. Highly recommend if a wired connection is required.

I purchased this for mac mini for additional gigabit ethernet. I would only get apple brand for reliability.

Adaptors are never convenient except when they are Exactly what you need. Everyone uses wifi for everything these days so t makes sense to remove Ethernet ports from laptops, but when those moments arise that call for a hard line connection, this adapter is exactly what's needed. It's small enough to travel with and it not be hard to pack. It's design is compact enough to not be a burden to travel with. It's just ideal and made with quality.

Cable is easy to setup and use. Needed it to program a router. Plug into Mac and done. Bit too expensive.

Bought this for gigabit connectivity to a Mac Book Air. Excellent speed. Very compact to carry around.

My Retina MBP doesn't have a ethernet jack, got a new ISP and wasn't getting the wi fi speed i was promised. In order to verify if I was getting the speed purchased I needed to go direct wired connection to the modem ( take out any potential bottle necks), so this was a required purchase to do that. Hooked it up and BOOM super fast speed was there !!! So need a new router to get wi fi up to speed. This worked first time every time with no issues at all.

This is compact and easy to store when not needed in my messenger bag. Excellent speed with the connection.

This adapter is reliable and does a great job. A little pricy, but it is an Apple product.
