My WIFI speed recently was very bad. I have to switch to a wire connection. The macbook pro(2012) does not support direct LAN connection. so this Thunderbolt-to-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, to me, is a must-have( USB-to-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter is also OK, but my macbook pro has only two USB ports, which I use heavily. so I don't want have one of them be taken by the ethernet adapter) . It has been 1 week since I got it. so far it works very well.

This product more than met my expectation. It truly is a plug and play which connects internet at very high speeds.

I can print to network printer (old, non Bluetooth) easily. Also Mac works faster connected by cable to Network.

These things are mandatory for the newer laptops that only have USB 3 jacks. I got two because I have a lot of legacy gear and cables that predated USB 3. Works fine. Lasts a long time. Won't rust. Won't bust. It's a product you can trust.

This worked as expected and is small enough to easily slip into my case. Without it I cannot connect my Mac Air to ethernet.

Did what it was supposed to do: provide internet to my mac.

I would highly recommend this little dongle over the USB Ethernet adapter for MacBook Airs and older Pros and iMacs. It's the same price as the USB adapter at $29.00, but it supports Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) speeds, which is way faster than the 10/100 Mbps max that the USB adapter has. I know a lot of people complain that the Thunderbolt to Gb Ethernet doesn't last long, but I use it a lot and have not had any issues

This was needed because we have spotty wifi and sometimes have to plug into the internet. Works well

Easily attaches to computer and works flawlessly. Highly recommend if a wired connection is required.

I purchased this for mac mini for additional gigabit ethernet. I would only get apple brand for reliability.

Adaptors are never convenient except when they are Exactly what you need. Everyone uses wifi for everything these days so t makes sense to remove Ethernet ports from laptops, but when those moments arise that call for a hard line connection, this adapter is exactly what's needed. It's small enough to travel with and it not be hard to pack. It's design is compact enough to not be a burden to travel with. It's just ideal and made with quality.

Really easy to get up and running! Just into the Thunderbolt port and the Ethernet cable and you're connected!

Worked well with integrating my macbook and iphone functions.

i loved this.. gave a good felling when i used it, knowing that it no one could steal info off wifi if i was using it.... however i dropped computer with it plugged in and it bent the connector... it was then no longer usable... truly not the fault of the thunderbolt.. but so disappointed when i could not use it any more

Works purfect with my new 13' MacBook Air. Made transfer migration faster than wifi. Get it , you'll need one

Does what it is advertised. Connects and works period. Get it if you need it
