This thing is so much better than the previous model. Huge speed improvement and hardly noticeable lag time for matched content fps.

This AppleTV is great, but if youre upgrading from the version just prior, youre not really going to know the difference unless you use your AppleTV for gaming. I really dont see app developers using the increased power to put out more intensive apps as theyre afraid to lose legacy AppleTV users. So at the end of the day, this makes Apple-made apps run better and games run better, but if all you do is stream stuff like Netflix, you can save your money for the next AppleTV that has massive improvements instead of incremental improvements.

I upgraded to the 4k 128GB one and its working great. The remote is better and the picture quality is crazy good.

Bought this to complete my home theater. The interface is fantastic and allows us to quickly navigate to our streaming choice. In addition, the audio and video do not disappoint. Very pleased with my decision to go with Apple TV 4K.

The layout is so easy to navigate. We moved our streaming services from a native TV setup to the AppleTv. Only regret, we didn’t do it sooner. Remote is great, gesture capable. If you have an iPhone, that can also function as a remote. Really easy to setup.

Easy setup, love that they went back to the old remote style as it's much easier to use. Smaller and lighter weight but with more memory than past models.

I recently bought an older gen Apple TV and realized it wasnt as exciting as I had hoped but after visiting a best buy store and getting a chance to play with the new 4K version I decided to give the Apple TV another shot and it has been the best thing that I’ve bought. Getting home from work has been made so much easier because with the apple home system I was able to set it up to turn on my lights and play some music when it detects that I’ve gotten home. Always improves my mood after a long day.

Good customer service. It is very convenient to change the first unit I bought because the remote was not working properly. They change it right away.

So far it really improved the performance when using HULU.

First time Apple TV purchaser, and glad to report it works as it should and is worth the price, which is higher than Roku or Fire, etc but worth it. I don’t love the rotating pad that is the primary way of navigating the remote, but you get used to it, and the dedicated buttons are easy to use. Pro Tips - check out the Appe TV Remote on your iPhone. It is easier to use in many ways, and if you have a good sound bar attached to your TV, you can stream music from your phone or iPad to the Apple TV using AirPlay when you are not watching TV and get the benefit of using your soundbar for tunes.

It works great! We have been gradually moving toward the Apple ecosystem for a while and this is the latest change.

We wanted to ditch our cable because of the price, but we were skeptical of streaming. However, our Best Buy home consultant encouraged us to make the switch and suggested the Apple as a way to address our concerns. We have now had this system for about a month, and it has been fairly easy to get used to although we’re still learning some of the more complex features of the system but all in all we are very happy with it.

This was my first streaming device. Though it seems more expensive than others, I love the clarity of the interface, the integration with other devices, and the many features. Our home theater, where we watch most TV, already has smart features, so it would be redundant there. I got it to stream in my home gym where the TV is "not that smart". It is ideal. There are comments about the remote "disconnecting". Though I have not had this issue (yet), there are clear online support articles on what to do should this happen ever, and I hope they work.
