LOVE our new Apple TV! Picked this up as to replace an older, non-4k version we had. The picture is great and set up was super easy. Apple really makes top tier devices and this updated device is no different. The one thing I was worried about was the new remote and getting used to the new features and feel. Luckily it is very intuitive and works/feels much like previous remotes, while feeling more substantial and secure in your hand. All around a great streaming device, especially if your ecosystem is Apple. Everything plays together so well!

This is my go to streaming box just live everything about it from ease of use to interface.

Love the user interface, smooth design, and ease of function. Great ecosystem. The controller is a pleasure to hold in your hand the voice commands are spot on with speech recognition. My only complaint is the touchpad can be overtly sensitive making rewinding and fast-forwarding out of control sometimes. Other than that, it’s great and I recommend it. It’s very fast and you can also play Apple Arcade on it paired with any controller with Bluetooth.

I have a smart TV and was using it’s built in features to connect to apps for streaming but it had limitations and a clunky interface. The Apple TV did not disappoint! Very easy to hook up and I instantly could see a huge improvement in the picture quality and now never have buffering issues. Sleek interface and love the remote. Highly recommend this product.

Really happy with the purchase. It is really easy to use and very little learning curve. Performance is much faster than the android driven OS built into our Sony TV or our Roku devices. Setup was as easy as holding my iPhone next to the device and it transferred my account info, whole process only took about a minute. Airplay is reliable and establishes a decent quality connection. Will be buying another one for a different TV in the house at some point.

Worth it for the remote upgrade alone! I have had two Apple TV 4Ks in our home for a few years and my wife's biggest gripe about them was the remote. Hard to find, hard to see what orientation it was in in the dark or just handling. The new design is bigger and easier to see what orientation it is when you pick it up. This new remote has a lot of new features that make the Apple TV easier to use. Most noticeably are the addition of power and mute buttons. In the past turning the TV of was a few click but with the new power button it is just a hold for a second and the system turns off. The mute button is welcome now that we do not have tap the volume down bottom multiple times to answer a phone call. My biggest reason for the upgrades was for performance and new capabilities. I have a Sonos Arc, Sub, and surrounds in my living area and always want to show off the Atmos capabilities of the system. With the addition of Spacial Audio on Apple Music, the room turns into a warmly filled sound stage and is in short, an incredible experience. I am excited for more to come on this. Setup is a breeze with your iPhone as it takes over and sets it up to look just like my previous Apple TV home screens and settings. Make sure to pair it with an OLED TV for amazing video quality in 4K HDR and hopefully at 120HZ soon

We had been using Fire TV devices for plenty of years before I decided it was time to kick them to the curb. With the new bloated interface and the performance degradation, I was looking for something a bit more serious. These Apple TV boxes offered that up with ease and are going strong 1.5 years later. I expect them to last a very long time. I’ve had to charge the remotes maybe twice? Not sure. It’s not been an issue at all. Profiles on it are pretty terrible though. Or at least the last time I tried it. It didn’t really change anything. I was hoping it could be a way to launch into an app with a user pre-selected or something like that. A lot of streaming apps seem to be better supported on the Apple TV with features like frame rate matching, HDR, and 4k. Though newer apps like Peacock don’t do frame rate matching which can be annoying. I do love the ability to shut off HDR in the Apple TV box settings and it works properly! On other (Android) devices, it wouldn’t show up properly after disabling HDR. The shows would be blown out or too dark. This box properly shows a SDR image as desired. Because my TV’s have a much lower max brightness with HDR on.

These are worth the price compared to the other streaming variants. They work every time with no having to shut them off and on and clear cookies and all that irritating stuff. I have 3 of these now, they are all ill ever but

Apple TV has made home entertainment simple. With the ability to use all the major streaming services through a single device, as well as with live tv though our cable providers app things couldn’t be simpler. Add in games, and Apple Music and Podcasts the possibilities are endless. Apple Fitness too. With a sleek, low footprint design, there’s no more clutter from wires and extra devices in order to watch programs. Add in it is 4K, can’t go wrong.

If you're an Apple Eco system kinda person, it's a no brainer. Remote is wayyy better than last model and it's pretty much plug and play. Very happy with the device even though it is expensive. I have a Shield and that also has a place in my gear. There really is no one that is "better" just different functions for different nees. I enjoy both streaming devices and would not have one without the other.

Ditch the cable box and make this your all on one device to at home entertainment! This is a far superior device to all the alternatives out there. The remote is especially amazing, acting as my TV remote as well as controlling the Apple TV itself. The battery is great for that, almost never needing to charge and doing so quickly when needed.

What can I say? The Apple TV 4k (2021) outperforms it's competition hands down in every aspect. After I finished setting up the player, I find it to be 100% user-friendly. In other words, it does what you want, not what it wants. Lots of apps to choose from. My Apple TV 4K is connected to my AVR. Video quality is superb. Colors deep and rich. Take my advice, when setting up video, set Format to 4K SDR – HDMI OUTPUT to YcbCr, Chroma 4:4:4, and Match Content, (Range & Frame rate) set Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate to ON positions. When viewing content in HDR or Dolby Vision, these settings will automatically change without effort on your part. Audio. Set Audio Output to TV Speakers (even if your using an AVR) Set Audio Format to Auto, Atmos Available. Or, if you want, change audio format into Stereo or Dolby Digital 5.1. However PCM (AUTO) does fully deliver complete lossless for music along with a very deep and clean sound for 5.1 surround for film and TV. Remote is easy to use. Go into settings to check the battery life. As I said, hands down, the Apple TV 4k (2021) out performs the competition in every way. Yeah, it's a little pricey at $179, but it's well worth it. I strongly recommend the Apple TV 4k, but only if you want or need the best in Audio and Video playback quality. If you enjoy Dolby Atmos Music, you'll be in for an experience. With over 650 tracks and more coming in Dolby Atmos, you'll love it.

Awesome. Last year I bought the AppleTV4k with the black remote and I thought that was already faster than my Amazon firestick, Google chromecast, and Roku. This 2nd gen is even faster and the remote is way better. Plus the picture is now in 4k HD for better colors. You still get Siri accuracy. Most tvs can't output today's highly immersive sound from Dolby Atmos but the AppleTV4k can!

If you don't have a 4k unit yet, this is a must. Absolute night and day difference in picture quality, speed and performance. If you already have a 4k apple unit, this won't give you much of a change that will be noticed unless it's going to an additional 4k tv. EXCEPT for the remote. The remote is great. So if you have a 4k unit already, consider just upgrading the remote.

Picture looks great. The feature to have it set your tv picture is pretty amazing. The remote is definitely an upgrade from the previous model. I’ve had all the streaming devices you could possibly have and the Apple TV is definitely the best. If you use Apple products it’s definitely a no brainer. The integration and ease of use is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.

I had this box setup in minutes. It synced with my other Apple products and all i had to do was enter my Apple ID. its easier to use than Roku for sure. The picture enhancements where better than the Tv settings as well. The remote feels great in the hand and very easy to operate. Some dont like the price point but i think its worth it. I would definitely recommend this.
