Have to have in order to support 4K. Remote is ingenious, but touch pad is a bit sporadic. Better than older models.

I recently upgraded to the latest Apple TV 4K streaming unit and could not be happier. Remote works with my Samsung soundbar and Samsung tv via HDMI ARC for simple on/off/audio control. I use the Apple TV primarily streaming services since I cut the cord on cable and directv. All of the core streaming services are available including the new Disney Plus and Apple TV plus. Apps are very easy to use and the Siri voice remote is integrated with most of the apps for easy to find shows, sports and movies. Highly recommend.

If you are into the Apple line this is a good product to use to stream tv. My husband could not get used to the remote so we switched to mostly Fire TV and I use this on a television he rarely uses. It works well with the exception of the logistics of the remote.

This was an upgrade for me from the previous generation. I must say I am impressed. It seems almost flawless and I am yet to find an issue with it. I am deep into the Apple ecosystem and this is a great addition. It takes a while getting used to the remote but that's about it. This is by far the best streaming device and I do use a few others as well. Highly recommended. I do like the fact that the remote is chargeable and you don't have to change the battery. Just wish it had a charge status indicator.

Easy to connect, great sound and picture display, with the extra $.

I haven't used an Apple TV since the first generation. It was clumsy, slow and the remote sucked! Several generations later they have nearly perfected it. The remote is such a pleasure to use and is very powerful for it's size. I'm able to get rid of my TV remote and sound bar remote to replace it with this little guy. TVos has been nothing but a great, fluid interface with all the options you can ask for. Overall, I'm really glad to finally pull the trigger and add this 4k Apple TV to my media center.

I was happy with the old Apple TV, but wanted Disney plus. This model is even easier to manipulate, and very versatile on interface.

Love my new 4K Apple TV, I have Samsung Qled with apps but the Apple interface and picture looks much better.

Very good performance! The 4K version on my Sony XBR900 TV is amazing and the 4K movies run well and show no lag whatsoever over my Comcast internet connection!

The previous version was easier to use.. the speed of clicking on letters for sign in to things was smoother.. you used to be able to fly across the screen to select letters/numbers now it makes you go through each one at a time..and really slow.. you also can’t feel the ‘ckick’ Of the pad when you select anything on the remote.. it all still works well but not as good as the last remote.

This was my third Apple TV. The 4K is great. I really like how the set up is done with my iPhone and the speaking feature makes putting in passwords easy

This is an upgrade for our new 4K TV, we were pleasantly surprised with the speed and picture quality of our new Apple TV over the previous generation, amazing!

Easy to use, syncs with all my Apple devices. Better picture quality than my fire stick and less connectivity issues.
