I love Apple TV. This is my third unit and the seamless connection between devices is the highlight of the system. While most TV’s have smart capabilities the speed and visual quality makes the purchase worth it.

There is no difference in this one or the original besides the remote as the mic and Siri doesn’t work in the search when you’re typing

The Apple TV is a great addition to my Samsung TV. The Apple TV interface seems a lot faster and smoother than the Google app experience that came with my Samsung TV. Also, the screensavers are awesome.

Can’t believe Apple ditched gyroscope just like that… My kids occasionally do play those Arcade games but they were very disappointed not able to play those games.

The first unit had major sound issues so Apple suggested taking it back and exchanging it. Well, the second one was no better with sound dropping out or not working at all, when it did the audio decoding was not correct. There are multiple forums with users having the exact same problem after the TvOS 15 update. It’s a shame because I really like the integration and speed of this steamer. I’ll stick with my $50 Firestick Max for now at least until these issues are resolved.

I returned it because problematic using microsoft computer. Accept paying alot of money for every little thing. Apple = alot of money to be paid in the future.

I have samsung smart TV and with that didn’t find any better advantage with Apple TV. So returned it. Useful if you don't have smart TV.

Into more streaming these days. Better picture and sound than the previous unit.

Although this and my iPhone 13 are both WiFi 6 devices, the download speed did not improve compared to the previous generation device.

Love it but don’t love Best Buy! Since when don’t you get points for Apple purchases (unless bought on a BB credit card)? Shame on you Best Buy!

Apple TV 2nd gen is still solid but a bit outdated now. It supports the latest Apple TV OS but wonder since gen 3 is out there, how long it will support. Overall good but price wise it’s still close to 3rd gen so not worth staying on previous gen for small price difference.

Basically a fancy fire stick but classy design that comes with the brand. No complaints from me. Apples qualm is always top notch. No need jailbreaking it. It has what you need.

this is the best thing you could get for your old tv! butter smooth switching between apps and no lag at all! with all the apple sync is justa complete package for apple users

The Apple TV 4K has been a very frustrating experience. I purchased it in advance of a move, had the Geek Squad set it up and it's never worked properly (e.g., remote connection lost frequently, when the remote is connected the controls are sluggish at best, the sound through my Sonos Arc doesn't start until several minutes after opening the app, etc.). All components are brand new (TV, HDMI cables, Apple TV 4K, Sonos Arc), so I was definitely surprised when I ran into so many issues. Because my move and the Geek Squad installation was delayed, I'm now out of the returnable period for the Apple TV 4K. Otherwise, I'd definitely return this. I'm very disappointed in both the product and the Geek Squad installation service. I though they would check to ensure proper functioning of the device (especially one that they took out of the box).

Was ok, but unless you specifically need an Apple streaming device then its not any better than a fire or android streamer.

I like the item to a degree but sometime it annoys me because I can’t use the volume function.

Having trouble getting used to the new remote Don’t like it. Appreciate Geek Squad though.

Eh…not great…..but ok. Remote takes some getting used to. Just ok Apple…

It’s OK the remote is so sensitive even a ghost can turn the channel
