This is my first AppleTV4K. I came from the Amazon Fire Stick 4K and I got tired of it always having to be re-booted to get it to work. This AppleTV4K blows the Firestick away and I am MUCH happier using the AppleTV. The new remote is great too. I never got to use the last touch pad remote that this one replaced, but I really like this remote. The extra storage compared to the Firestick is very nice as well. I might never need it, but it is there for me to use if I do which is nice. It is expensive, but you do get what you pay for. Definitely worth buying though!

My original Apple TV 4 started showing its age, specifically scrubbing video was choppy and fitness+ had issues connecting to my Apple Watch. So happy I upgraded to this new version. So much more responsive, fitness+ and Apple Watch sync flawlessly and the ARC support means I can have my HomePods output sound from my switch. There’s no noticeable delay between the switch and homepod. It also means the sling tv app no longer uses the TV speakers. I know the remote was the big change, but honestly I prefer the size of the original Siri remote.

My go to streaming device. Replaced my Roku and Fire sticks on my TVs. I like the slick interface, voice commands and premium remote. Is it overpriced...yes, but it works very well.

Excellent product! Love the new remote It is much larger than my previous one! Also the fact that it has a mute button is remarkable. Picture is phenomenal!

Love it makes it easy having all the apps in one system and I can use my phone to control everything on it and you can even turn on your tv with the system.

The AppleTV 4K is a HomeKit hub for smart devices, an AirPlay 2 receiver for both audio and video from Macs and iOS devices, and a powerful App Store enabled device with by far the most robust and always up-to-date streaming app support. If you have a 4KTV with Dolby Vision and you don’t have an AppleTV, you’re truly missing out on the best streaming experience on the market. Controlling and powering an LG OLED and connected Sonos Arc with the AppleTV remote is both elegant and dummy proof.

I’m enjoying my time with the Apple TV streaming box so far. The interface is very quick and the controls are intuitive. It’s pretty neat how I’m able to play games on it, although I wish all the games allowed you to play them through the remote. Only some of them do; the rest require a controller. I also wish more games, specifically Minecraft, were available to play through Apple TV. Not a huge deal, though, but it is room for improvement. What is kind of a big deal is that I can’t get Hulu to work on it! The app freezes every time I try to log in, and there’s no way to log in through the phone. Pretty weird, especially since my TV lets me watch Hulu through the normal interface. That sort of makes me question the value of this product: smartTVs are getting better all the time, offering many of the same streaming services that these streaming boxes offer. New Samsung TVs are also getting Xbox Game Pass built in, which I don’t think Apple TV would ever get. So I don’t think this is a good value if you have a new smart TV and it already has everything you want on it. But, if your TV is older, then this is a great way to “renovate” it, so to speak. Just hopefully Hulu will work for you!

My daughter had the regular Apple TV but when her tv got hit by lightning I got her a 4k TV so I upgraded her to the 4k Apple TV- this is great! I also love the upgrade to the remote

Apple TV 4k 2nd generation is an improvement from the 1st generation. I wouldn't have purchased this unit to replace my old Gen.1 Apple TV but I also use a couple of firesticks on a two TV's and one went bad. I used that as a reason to buy the 2nd generation Apple TV. I loved my first one and this one is just better. I now have Apple TV 4k's on both of the TV's we watch the most and I am completely satisfied. Apple TV allows me to get all the streaming apps I need and is great for helping us keep track of the shows we are watching as well as our Plex media server content.

This kicks other streaming devices to the curb. Fast response time, ease of use, and sleek remote made this one of my best purchases. I’ll soon be buying a second unit for my bedroom.

I'm a big fan of the Apple TV, it's very convenient if your household uses apple products. This new version allows you to use your phone to calibrate your TV and reduce loud noises.

Great update. Sound options are much better than on previous versions. Dolby Atmos! The Apple TV is also much faster and responsive. Nicely done.

Much better remote than previous AppleTV. These are much nicer and have a really good picture. We’ve watched more movies and sports on this unit and have enjoyed it even more

I was thinking of getting a new television but thought I’d try the Apple TV first. It greatly improved my picture and sound quality! I was even able to install it myself!

Great product. I have a smart tv (LG) but the user interface on Apple TV is so much better. Also allows me to watch ESPN which lg doesn’t connect to.

Amazing streaming box this apple 4K is pretty much like other old models except it has a redesigned remote with 4K HDR at 60fps if you want the most features since your a iPhone/iPad user like airplay screen, put in password for signing into Netflix all from your phone keyboard and want premium feel when watching a movie this is for you! I compare the Amazon fire stick as a Honda or regular car and this is like a bmw/Mercedes both can do the job but if you want it just because you want the iPhone assist features and expensive rich build of IOS and its design of the remote I would buy this anyday!

glad I splurged and got one! made my regular TV into an amazing TV! picture is nicer easy to use and The siri feature i thought was a little overboard, But is the greatest!

Just a minor upgrade from the previous generation but the remote is greatly improved. Additionally this device supports 4K on YouTube TV

Love this little machine coming from the prior model. Picture seems a bit sharper,love the new remote and much faster just typically pricey.
