If you're an Apple family (iPhones, iPads, Macs) then this is great for streaming apps from the app store, but also great for mirror casting from your other Apple devices on your TV.

Very easy to use. Makes streaming a whole lot easier. Remote so much improved over first version

So far, it's working great. No problems with streaming. Have not had any buffering. If you just want a streaming device, this would be what to get. You do not have to use the Apple TV app to use this. I haven't even subscribed for Apple TV yet, As far as I can tell, this has all the paid streaming apps that one could get. The only issue I have seen is that if you do not back out of the streaming app you are using, and you let the device shut itself down, then after about an hour when you turn it back on to use it, the app will give you an error. All you have to do is click on OK and reload the app.

This is a nice update from the previous 4k model. If you already own that model, I would not update it, but I would buy the new remote. Having physical cursor buttons and the trackpad is great. You also have the ability to turn off the track pad function and the remote is even more accurate. If your tv has HDMI 2.1 this is probably worth the upgrade, but there really isn't a lot of content that uses the 2.1 capability. If you are looking to future proof this is a great buy, especially if you are locked in the Apple eco system.

interface is clean, easy to use, remote is heavy and feels good in your hands. it made the picture of my 15 years old tv looks really good.

Got two of them, and love it. If you're already in the Apple ecosystem, it's a no brainer. The remote is far better than the previous one, but not sure it's necessarily worth the upgrade. Recommended if you have a cable subscription and can use the app instead of a box, as well as if you have multiple other steaming subscriptions. Gave the gaming a shot, and meh, but not really a gamer to begin with. If you have a good AV system, it's a great interface for streaming music with Apple's service. 4K and HDR look great.

I was always hesitant to buy an Apple TV because the TV I had already had Roku built in. But man, I was missing out. Apple TV is so much faster! I thought it was just normal that the HBO Max app took almost a full minute from opening to resuming what I was watching. With Apple TV it’s easily 100% faster. Being a user of different Apple products, it’s also nice to have the familiar user experience. I would highly recommend.

If you are in the Apple ecosystem than an Apple TV is a good purchase. I still prefer a TiVo remote over the Apple remote but this latest rendition of the Apple remote is usable and much better then the first and second gen remotes. Arlo cameras integrate well with Apple Tv as you can have the Arlo camera image show up as a picture in picture image on the Apple TV when motion is detected. All in all a solid device. The app library has caught up to Roku but the Apple TV hardware is probably due for a refresh.

Very easy to navigate. The remote is very sleek and i love that is has a power button that will turn on/off both the tv and apple tv.

Apple TV 4K is the best streamer for 4K content. I bought it for the updated remote and its enhance my 4k TV. Great Apple TV just get it!

Great little box. Setup was easy, integrates well with your iPhone, and easy to use overall. I’m not a huge fan of the remote (seems like it could use a few more buttons) but it’s a minor issue overall. Navigation through the UI is quick and responsive. Picture quality is great. Lots of features like being able to control the volume on your TV. Very happy with the Apple TV so far and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a streaming box. I also own a Amazon Fire Cube and I think I’d give the Apple TV a slight edge over that. It just feels better overall.

Great upgrade from the previous model I had. It runs much faster and smoother. The new remote is much better as well. I like having the option to click or swipe.

Love the new remote, it's a huge improvement. The whole experience is a bit snappier than my old Apple TV. Happy with the purchase.

I've had Apple TVs since the 2nd generation. They just keep getting better! Love the new remote, with the mic button on the side I no longer hit it accidentally or start a search in the tvOS, the addition of a back button is great along with a dedicated mute button. And it's bulky, which I personally like. The old remote was too small and flimsy feeling for my taste. The Apple TV itself is great, supports HDR 4K and Dolby Atmos. The automatic color correction is awesome, so long as you have an iPhone with Face ID to tune it with.

Now I know anyone looking to buy an Apple TV has probably looked into the remote yes the remote is great but that’s not the reason why I’m writing a review. The Apple interface is just fantastic when it comes to streaming, nothing compares it’s just Smooth and very intuitive. Dolby Atmos works fantastic. I had several streaming devices google Roko you name it none of them compared to this that’s why I had to give in and buy another one for the TV the other ones always have issues Wi-Fi drops not as smooth glitches the Apple TV just works expensive but makes a TV experience so much better

The new Apple TV 4K works great and the picture quality is a great improvement. The new remote is also a change for the better.

While the basic features of the Apple TV are the same, I did like the streamlined setup and the layout of the new controller. It is much easier to use!
