This device is great! I went so long thinking I didn’t really need this and now I feel like I’ve been cheating myself out of a wonderful experience. As someone who has a large collection of movies purchased through iTunes, this is perfect. I use this for my iTunes music, Apple TV, Disney+, HBO MAX, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime. The only thing I haven’t tried is the Apple Arcade. I’ve got everything I need in one Box. Also, the remote is awesome!

Extremely easy to use, set up is a pinch. Effortlessly connects to Apple ecosystem. Includes HDR, and 4K.

Step up if you dont have the HD model but not really needed if you've already got a 4K. I purchased this for another Samsung TV that does not seem to ever update it's APPS. New remote is far better than the old AppleTv Siri remote, however I'm having some issues with it disconecting and reconnecting. It may be where I've mounted the unit (back or tv). If you're looking to upgrade and have a 4K for the remote, simply purchase it separatly.

If you're an Apple family (iPhones, iPads, Macs) then this is great for streaming apps from the app store, but also great for mirror casting from your other Apple devices on your TV.

Excellent picture and ease of use. It is an Apple TV and as expected it worked great and was seamless with my iPhone.

Real upgrade to older version and the remote is by far superior and easier to program. It’s a little pricey but worth the money.

I think the Apple TV is the best smart tv options for those in the apple ecosystem. I replaced a Chrome Cast Ultra with this for most of my viewing. The new updated remote works great and gets rid of the accidental scrolling the previous model had issues with. If your tv only supports HDR10 and not Dolby Vision you might have some trouble with Netflix. Netflix seems to just see the device as Dolby Vision capable so even though my TV is HDR10 they send the Dolby Vision stream instead and the Apple TV has to convert it. Comparing the streams to those on the ChromeCast ultra show a little bit of quality degradation. I’m not sure if this is something Netflix needs to fix or if the Apple TV needs to be updated to just tell them if a TV only supports HDR10. Other streaming apps don’t have this problem.

Very nice box and gives me access to all my favorite apps. Easy to use and I love the new remote.

A worthy upgrade over any other smart TV system I'm used, especially on TV's without HDR. You can use your iPhone's camera to optimize the color of your TV automatically. On my 4K HDR TV's, it's just a replacement for the failing built-in smart functionality and dead WiFI. On my 1080p TV in the Living Room, it made an enormous difference in picture quality - even over the recommended settings I had found online for that model TV.

I liked the previous ATV model, but the remote was not as easy to control. This new one has a few upgraded features as well as a new remote with easier control, better button placement and tactile feel. I like the contrast of the remote better, too--black buttons against a chrome body. Been using it for many months and the button marks show no sign of wearing off. Of course, the best functionality of the ATV is streaming and the quality will depend on your internet service more than anything.

This is my third AppleTV. Noticeably better image and sound quality, and I like the more substantial remote.

Super easy to set up, plays nice with other Apple devices, and this remote, while larger and heavier, feels more functional than the last one. I've used every iteration of Apple TV and this version of the Apple TV 4K works just like the last one, but with a better remote. Best one yet! (Although if you already have an Apple TV 4K you like, you may want to consider just upgrading the remote rather than buying a whole new unit.)
