Best 4K streamer under $200... especially at the new lower prices... though now surpassed by the very new 3rd gen version, which offers greater potential, but no realizable diffs yet so far.

Upgraded from a Fire stick to the Apple TV, and there isn’t even a comparison. This product works well and interfaces seamlessly with my other Apple devices.

I love Apple products so I was very excited to get Apple TV. It was very easy to set up especially after going on YouTube and figuring out the proper settings. Ease of use, Siri and the fact that I no longer needed the cable box is my favorite things about it. If something malfunctions I’m not sure what to do because there are no instructions as usual with Apple but I like it so far.

Great upgrade from my 2015 HD version. I did need new HDMI cables as mine were 12 years old. The new remote is more than worth the upgrade. Best of all, the free services like Apple Music.

Purchased an Apple TV 4K 64GB (2nd Gen) to upgrade from a Apple TV (4th Gen). Just the remote alone is worth it. Remote is much better than previous one.

Excellent picture and apps. Does what I bought it for. I needed a device that would give many TV features as well as access my iTunes library on my Mac computers and display iCloud pics.

Waited forever to upgrade since I had Apple TV… couldn’t log in because of update and logging in issues due to new required features. Basically was forced out of old one. But new one has so many features it is worth double the price. So impressed. Love how to login. Love the Siri talk feature. I will say start over etc. Connects to phone, iPad, just fully functions as a iPhone or iPad really. Seems like I went from a 90’s version to the future. I use all their products and this is so far most impressive to me. My arlo doorbell comes on screen if someone comes To the door which I love. So much more. Connect my AirPod pro and AirPod max all night and nobody hears a thing!!

This is a system command center that I never experienced before. Glad I waited for the newest version. The 4k HDR version is wonderful and integrates the home well. All the movie apps and Apple Arcade together!

Great 4K streaming box. Works well if you have an iPhone and other Apple devices. The remote is a bit over sensitive, but I'm sure there's a setting to fix it that I haven't found yet.

You don’t really need this if you have the early 4K version. This has the upgraded remote. Worth the cost if you’re looking for something that’ll stream all your streaming service. Super fast menu and very responsive.

I am glad I upgraded to the new 4k hdr tv and I like the new apple remote feels great I had the the first model the 1080 hd now I just put that one in my bedroom tv and my new in living room

Slightly faster than the prio version but the most significant improvement, which has been noted by others, is the remote control. The remote is much easier and less frustrating to operate.

My first exposure to Apple TV. Incredibly easy setup. (Former Comcast Xfinity customer, new home uses Spectrum and no longer have TiVo). Fast setup, easy to use remote. Buying my second unit today!

This will be my third Apple TV I've purchased. Can beat the price for what you get. If you can get them on sale then I would grab it. I like this remote better than the last gen one.

This the 4th Apple TV for us. Love the redesigned remote which includes a power button. Easy access to all of our streaming services and easy integration with AirPods for Personal lsidtnejng.

I've been waiting for this for a long time and it's AWESOMENESS!!! I was hoping that Apple would have put a better chip in and have 1gb of storage but the picture quality is spectacular!

Great price and this upgrade is necessary to stream FIOS TV without a mini box. Doesn’t do all the FIOS mini box does (can’t set recordings and harder to get to channels) but it works well enough.

If you are upgrading, there arent enough updates from the previous version. The remote is 1000 times better. You can buy the remote without the new system. Either way, great product.

This is a high quality build and has a very pleasing UI. Apple also is better at protecting your privacy and that is a huge plus to me. It is a bit pricey but you are paying for quality and covering the cost of the HW with cash instead of part cash and part for relinquishing your privacy to subsidize it. I have one issue that is also a big deal to me. It will not bitstream so I cannot make use of my fancy AVR decoding options and up mixing. That is almost a killer deal for me. There are a couple of apps only available for Apple TV that may entice me to keep it around but it's a bit questionable. If you are not a AV nutcase that loves getting the highest quality audio then this is the best streamer out there IMHO. If you hold very high prioriy to the best quality audio and wish to use more advanced AVR decoding and up mixing options you may prefer something else.
