Get it for the remote alone, but appreciate others

Also having a faster A12 Bionic chip is appreciated. HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6, and Thread are also included.

It makes it easy to see what shows you have not watched that you want to watch. I like the remote with this version better than the previous version.

Love the new remote which was never perfect in previous generations. This one is the best yet. Can't wait for more to come from Apple TV, including 8K (I hope).

Apple TV 4K Hits a Home Run!

The sound and picture quality is better than streaming through the tv. This isn’t just another expensive Apple product, it is incredibly better than anything else out there.

AppleTV 4K does what is expected.

AppleTV provides a very high quality alternative by allowing me to a la carte my channel lineup. While I do not have a 4K receiver to fully utilize its capabilities, the price of this device was low enough to convince me this was the model to buy. It has performed flawlessly and, after going through the username / password routine to have all the apps I use available, is a welcome alternative to the cable offerings. In addition, I connect a Bluetooth keyboard to it which immensely simplifies enter feet for searching, etc. Voice command also works well.

Apple TV 4K - GET IT

Bonus points for Atmos and the ease of integration with my Samsung Frame 2022 TV - the Apple remote and the Samsung remote recognize each device and control both without setup.

It is much faster. Setup was a breeze. Nice how it works with the Apple ecosystem and my iPhone. However, the picture is definitely not as good. Colors are less saturated. Sometimes even grainy. And expensive compared to other options.

Xbox to Apple TV

Mediocre performance…

The remote is the best part of this package. A few new features added to the overall functionality but the performance is nothing to write home about when comparing to the previous model. Check out YouTube for some video reviews before you buy. If you are like me and need another unit then I recommend this unit.
