I received the Apple TV today.. I was told it was on open box excellent condition like new. It arrived it a damaged box and had multiple scratches on it! I only saved 14$ on this transaction very upset

I am an Android guy but I have grown to love the Apple TV 4K. Its fast, has great picture quality especially with Dolby Vision. Passes through audio signals including Atmos perfectly. Has lots of apps and gets updated very often. I would like the ability to sideload an app without having to use a Mac and I would have liked to have seen Safari built in as I occasionally like browsing the web on my TV. Thats the only reason I took off a star. This device is overall super solid, quick, and very easy to use! The updated Siri remote is amazing! It's built well and I rarely ever have to charge it. Plus the built in track pad is nice. Highly recommend this box to those who don't want to use built-in apps on their TV or those who don't have the smart functionalities. Also, spend the extra money and get the 64 GB version. Apps just keep getting bigger on the daily.

Excellent evolution of the Apple TV product line. Pros Easy, smooth set up. Scales well with all of my streaming services. New remote is the “bomb”. It serves as a multifunction device and handles the TV, and sound bar as well. Great new features for instance: using the control button perimeter for fast forward/reverse or stop frame and using Siri to execute commands. It is Portable… had a great experience when I took it on vacation recently. Cons: Pricey

The new Apple TV 4K is a great purchase! The picture seems better, and it's super fast. It was super easy to set up as I had the previous model and loved it! The remote is much improved and easier to hold and stainless instead of slick plastic. I love the Apple TV 4K 64GB!

I bought the 64GB but think the 32GB would have worked just as well since you don't take photos or store much content on the device. Most of the space needed would be for Apps and games. I do wish extra remotes were a little more affordable though. It has ALL the apps you need. Clear picture and really like the color calibration tool. Am really interested in using the Homekit hub as well. Very expensive if you are comparing to Amazon Fire or Roku, but I know those companies sell everything they know about me. There is absolutely NO LAG and it just works and integrates with the rest of the Apple Ecosystem. Really like that you can control from iphone and ipad.

I love this thing ! I recently purchased a LG OLED C1 series tv and i was using a roku soundbar and replaced that with a better soundbar and the apple tv and the picture quality just blows my mind. Love how i can watch with my airpods if i dont want the volume loud and i Also love the remote.

I own a Apple TV 4K but needed one for another television. The new upgrade in this model is subtle. Faster processor and upgrades in almost all areas, the real improvement in this product is the new remote. It is much easier to use all around and ease of use is improved. I know the Apple TV is more expensive than it's competitors, and if all you want is a better interface for your smart tv, you could choose another brand. But if you have an iPhone, or an Apple Watch, the integration and slickness with them is huge. Using Fitness+ with my Apple Watch and Airpod Pros is pretty amazing. Love it!

I have two of these now, one in the living room and one in our master bedroom, and there isn't a better way to access your streaming apps and while Apple TV+ may not have the extensive catalogue as some of the other services they absolutely make up for it in terms of quality. The speed is fast and the picture quality is unmatched. Using the apps on our smart tvs was always so slow. Moves and shows would constantly go fuzzy while watching and the interface is always so clunky. Apple tv has zero issues. The box itself is sturdy and solid. The remote charges with your iphone cord and so far I haven't had to recharge it after 3 months of use. The remote is easily connected to control your tv as well as the apple tv box.

I started out with an old Fire Stick in my son's TV when I still had cable TV. Then I got a Fire Cube 4k for my OLED TV for things like Amazon Prime, and realized I may as well cut the cord. Did so, and started using Tablo for local stations and Philo for the few cable channels I still wanted. But I had issues and disliked the ads and Amazon's spamming. So I got an Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 model. It was OK but I had issues with it and Plex despite it being on a gigabit network. Back to the Fire cube. Then I tried a Roku newer 4k box. More issues, went back to the Fire Cube. Then last week I got fed up with having to reboot the fire cube ever day or two to keep Tablo working. So I finally grabbed this, after a friend who uses it said he doesn't have any issues. Setup was SO SIMPLE. I stopped using Apple laptops about 10 or 11 years ago, but I still use an iPhone and have an iPad. LOVED that it asked me to simply get the iPhone close to simplify setup. Also love that if there's a popup for me to search or authenticate, I can also do it all on my phone, it pops an instant notification I can simply click on, rather than having to type with the remote on a keyboard on the TV. These are HUGE steps forward in my opinion. The Tablo experience is much better than on the Cube. I have less clicks to get to my live station. Plex worked well as well, and I've been playing with Plex (I have a Synology DS1821+ in the basement with 8 bays and about 60 terabytes of data) and it's been flawless so far. My OLED TV was recognized and dolby vision worked just fine. I still use my Logitech Harmony Elite remote with this since it's just easier, but the touch / trackpad type of control on the top of this worked OK too. For anyone streaming, can't go wrong here, so far it's by far the best I've used.

It's a Apple product. I am on my 3rd version. I can only ask them what they did to make the picture quality better. The jump from HD to 4K was worth the leap. Now the 4K first gen to 2nd gen was worth the extra coins. I have the first generation 4K with the Samsung 4K tv. The 2nd Gen 4K is with a Sony 4K tv. The Sony TV is getting the fight club time. The remote control is not the only improvement they made. Set up is a breeze. If you have the apple phone or iPad they make it really easy to set up. The click wheel reminds me of the iPod. If you have a 8K or 4K tv it's worth the purchase.

I upgraded from the much older Apple TV HD box so the speed of this device is incredible, the combination of this box with my LG OLED is top notch, the Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos sound is just breathtaking! I love the fact that getting this newer 4K box, all my movie purchases I have made over the years that have 4K support have been upgraded to 4K, that was something I loved seeing. And then there is the remote, which is amazing!! If you’re thinking of upgrading from older box, I say go for it!! Great box.

Easy to set up. Snappy interface. Great remote. Supports nearly every streaming service. Can pair with two pairs of AirPods for quiet viewing.

I got it as a gift, this little box it's quick...easy to setup using your iPhone... adding streaming accounts and other apps it's a breeze.. Remote is well made, excellent quality... you don't need instructions to understand how to use it and if you're an Apple customer, most of your setup up will be made automatically once you sign in with your Apple ID. You'll be happy to have this at your home..

I purchased this as an upgrade from my 2015 Apple TV. The speed has been greatly improved as switching between apps or loading them makes the viewing experience much more enjoyable. I find that the picture quality has also improved on my 1080P tv. The new remote is very enjoyable to use compared to the old one. It feels good in the hand and has good feedback when pushing the buttons. Very pleased with the purchase.

In need of a new Apple TV and picked up the latest one. First and foremost, love the new remote design. It's built a lot better than the flimsy highly breakable remote from last gen. The buttons are more responsive and the overall remote is more comfortable to hold and find. As for the Apple TV itself, it improves on the last gen, super fast and 4K to match your TV, for those that have one.

This was an upgrade from my Roku box. I got it due to the 4K capability as I do own a 4K tv. Nice picture with this box. But I have discovered that it seems very sensitive to my wifi signal as I have this unit upstairs in my bedroom. As always you pay for the Apple name. But I do like the new remote. Not nearly as sensitive as previous model with the touch pad.

This is a fantastic streaming device. It has vastly outperformed our firestick 4k. It should based on the price, but it has been great. Hulu live TV has barely buffered (extremely minimal) when we were having a lot of buffering issues with the firestick. We shouldn't have any buffering issues with our internet speeds (gigabit), but I'll take the large decrease. Only reason I'm docking a star is because we have had to restart it a few times due to lag issues and black screens popping up out of nowhere. Overall a fantastic device and I recommend purchasing one.

I keep upgrading, these are the best devices! From your iphone just screenshare what you are looking at to the tv, has all the apps, lets you use your keyboard on your phone when you want to search for something, super intuitive! Took me a minute to figure out they had moved the voice (siri) button over to the side of the remote lol...but a quick google search and I found it and well, one of those "doh" moments! The previous model had a microphone button on the face of the remote. Nice you can control it from your apple phone as well, slide down from top on unlocked screen and the remote is right there, select the apple TV you want to control and off you go!

This is a great addition to your entertainment setup . Easy set up for those who are new to using an apple product . I own a smart tv a xbox series x and a ps5 so technically i didnt need a apple tv but i watch movies and tv shows alot so i didnt want to put wear and tear on my other entertainment systems and even though smart tvs have all the apps this bad boy is much faster and also the video quality is just amazing for some reason and again the operating system is just so smooth i can walk into my room grab my apple remote and before i even sit down have something playing . I reccomend this first and foremost for those who dont have any tv/movie smart devices and also if your person who has a few ways to stream but dont want to put wear and tear on those devices this is a great option this is also better than a roku in my opinion so if your one of those whos debating roku or apple tv go for the apple tv
