The Apple TV marks another milestone in Apple's foray into the realm of home entertainment. This nifty device carries the brand's renowned hallmark of sleek design and intuitive interface, transforming the traditional television experience into a futuristic wonder. Equipped with the powerful A12 Bionic chip, Apple TV delivers an unparalleled streaming experience, with content loading swiftly and running smoothly. The 4K HDR compatibility offers breathtaking visuals, ensuring a cinematic spectacle right in your living room. The Dolby Atmos support further heightens the immersive audio experience. The tvOS interface is aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly, housing a rich variety of apps in a well-organized manner. With seamless integration of Apple's ecosystem, it lets you access iTunes libraries and iCloud photos effortlessly. The Siri-enabled remote is another exciting feature, offering voice control for searching content and controlling playback. However, the touch-sensitive swipe-to-select function on the remote can be overly sensitive and requires a learning curve. A slight disadvantage is the relatively high cost compared to competing devices. Yet, given the premium experience and the Apple ecosystem integration, it's a worthwhile investment for Apple loyalists. In conclusion, Apple TV is an exceptional streaming device that offers high-quality visuals, an intuitive interface, and seamless Apple integration. Although a bit pricier, it excels in delivering a superior entertainment experience that places it in a league of its own.

I have had the New Apple TV 4k 64GB for just about a week. I love the new remote and it is much easier to use then the last one. The sound and image quality is better than the old model. The contrast and colors are more vibrant especially the blacks. The Atmos is louder and more separated when watching the same shows' and movies than the old model. I was not able to get the new Color Balance to work with the older model, but as soon as I tried in on the new model it worked and set up right away (Note it will not work on Dolby Vision 60 Hz). I am using HDMI 2.1 cables and I have had NO issues with any Apps playing in Atmos and Vision (It works with, Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon, Apple TV, and Disney).

Blows xbox and playstation out of the water in terms of media and streaming. Lightning fast, great remote. Apple tv+ is nice. I bought it for a dumb tv and had low/no expectations bit I am highly impressed. This is my first apple product.

The difference between this and the 1st Gen 4k is very minimal, but here is the reason why I decided to upgrade. New Remote, this this is a definitive upgrade to the original remote. Just having a back button on the remote is worth the upgrade. The center wheel still operates just like the touch pad in the old remote. But this one have the classic click wheels like in the iPod days. Speed improvements : Although the 2nd gen has a much faster processor, in every day usage I cannot notice much of a speed difference. 1st gen never felt slow to begin with. 2nd gen does open apps like Netflix faster, but during the normal UI, there isnt any distinguishable difference. HDMI 2.1 Support. 2nd Gen now supports the new HDMI standard. If any of the above is worth it to you, then it might be worth the upgrade, if not... skip!

Greatest purchase! I highly recommend it, I had the fire tv and upgraded to this. I regret not getting it sooner! Faster, easier, slicker, and pairs up nicely with my phone. iPhone can be used as a remote too. Very satisfied. :)

I've had Apple TVs for years but they were getting old, slow and couldn't get some newer apps onto it. Decided to purchase an upgrade and I have to say I am so glad I did.... Easy to setup, great picture... fast... I'll be heading back for another!

Recently purchased the Apple 4k 64GB (2nd gen) device. I was tired of my Sony tv running out of space with all these new streaming apps, or stuttering/slow performance cycling through app menus. Not even the USB expansion feature was helping as not every app supports moving to USB storage. Plugged this device in and set up all my apps quickly. If you have an iPhone, it even lets you use the phone to enter passwords. This makes things even faster. Plenty of space, plus the processing power is much faster than my Sony tv. This streaming box has plenty of features and supports all the major streaming apps. Everything plays seamlessly. Plenty of space left over for any other apps to be downloaded/updated. So glad to ditch trying to have my 'smart' tv control everything, this device does all the smart features much better. Now I just let my TV display the picture.

This is my first Apple TV purchase. I was pleasantly surprised at how like my iPad easy to set up, to use, how great the picture is. There is more Pro’s than cons. I purchased Apple TV 4K 64 GB model. The Pro’s are that it’s very easy to set up, the picture quality is better than my roku 4k and my Amazon cube 4k. I also like the fact that I can hook up to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. It also has no Errors come up like on my Roku or even my Amazon fire TV cube. And far less ads. Con’s the only few con’s I’ve found are that the remote touchpad is a little to sensitive. That you can’t hook up a external hard drive and lastly when you use Siri to type in your password sometimes what do you say doesn’t get put in. In all honesty I actually watch my Apple TV more than I watch my Roku on my Amazon fire TV cube.

Wow, the picture is amazing, the set up is a breeze, and the new remote is a huge improvement from the old one. We've had several apple tvs so its a bit transition to the new one, but once you do its good to go.

Finally upgraded from Gen 1 Apple TV, and it’s a huge improvement. Number 1, 4K is fantastic! Number 2, the remote is much better. Number 3, the user interface is better when adding/buying apps/movies/etc.

I noticed an improvement in performance with this new 2nd Gen Apple TV, although the more immediate and noticeable improvement is the remote. It's far more usable and convenient to use.

Major upgrade over using the AppleTV application on my LG TV. Kept getting major lag and skipping while watching movies or trying to open a movie or show. With the AppleTV device hooked to the TV I’ve had none of those same problems. Must be a proprietary issue between LG and Apple. Installation was quick and simple. Got a $10 wall/TV mount to keep the unit out of sight. No issues so far with the infrared remote. All buttons function each time even with the unit not in direct line of sight to the remote. Siri from the remote is an amazing option and a huge time saver. Do yourself a favor and buy a $15 to $20 small USB keyboard so that you can type in search options. I have one with a trackpad on the keyboard so I can use it as a mouse option. Overall this was a great purchase.

I'm not a fan of apple products (like phone for example) but for TV is a different story. I find the picture quality is clean and clear. But keep in mind it depends on your output for your TV. I had other connect tv devices like Roku TV. If I had to pick one I would go for the Apple TV to save money from purchasing any type of batteries. I find the User Interface for Apple TV very responsive and smooth. I just hope that their software updates doesn't mess up their products just like how their phone do. Apple TV may be pricey but I found it's worth due to the picture quality and rechargeable controller. When it's one sale, take advantage of it like I did.

Like most Apple products, this was a dream to set up and remarkably easy to use. The interface is smooth like butter, streams start instantaneously, and controls are easy to learn. Even though I have an older TV, somehow this device knows how to turn it on and off via HDMI. It is also able to control the volume of my Bluetooth speakers where my previous configuration required two different remotes. Very impressive. I am a little stymied by the lack of any outputs besides HDMI (like a separate audio output) but so far it hasn't been an issue. Where my devices don't have an HDMI connection, they can connect wirelessly either via Bluetooth or AirPlay.

I purchased this to see if the performance level was similar to the Nvidia Shield and I was impressed. Not only is the transition smoother but the picture is also better. Loading the apps were quick and I was up and running in no time. I take off one star because setting up the soundbar was a pain. The audio is fine but setting it up through the television, and then through the device was a little difficult. After doing some research, I was able to find some instructions online to get everything working in sync. Overall, I'm impressed and have used this device to replace by Shield and Fire Cube.

I've had the 1st gen Apple TV 4K (32GB) for a couple of years and I thought, why upgrade to the 2nd gen model since it seemed almost identical. Then my 1st gen started having issues with HDR video from my new Samsung TV. The screen would go blank every now and then while watching HDR videos, so I took a chance and purchased the 2nd gen model. It totally cleared up my HDR issue due to the much faster processor (6 cores) and more memory. All my streaming video is sharper plus my apps load faster and run smoother. The redesigned remote is a nice touch too. The 2nd gen was definitely worth it.
