Okay, so this is expensive for a streaming device, but honestly, I'm so glad I made the purchase. You get what you pay for. I've had every FireTV device ever made, and while they have a lot of features and a low price, the performance of the new Apple TV 4K blows me away in comparison. On every FireTV device I have, AT&T Streaming (AT&T now) really struggles. The guide loads slow or not at all, the live picture skips pretty frequently, and often times the movement of mouths is slightly off of the video. Other apps and the general FireTV interface can lag. The Apple TV is so fast. Faster than I could have imagined. I'm very happy with it and as you would expect, it fits into the Apple ecosystem very nicely.

The remote is the upgrade. Having little issue with the previous Siri remote. Have found that the new remote is a welcome change. Keep what was good and added needed new features. The Apple TV 4K is a noticeable performance upgrade. As others have stated. If you have a 4K version then just get a new remote. However if you are the type that pushes your settings and quality to there best then think about the new version.

Why did I wait so long, tried streaming through my tv, then a roku and then finally gave in and got Apple TV. Integrates perfectly into my home and now I can view all of my cameras while watching tv. No more delivery doorbell surprises that send my dogs into a frenzy and wake up everyone in the house. Not to mention it puts all your services into one so you can see what you were watching and pick up where you left off easily.

Makes streaming shows and videos amazing. Great Product. Very fast and the remote is unique.

As someone who is pretty immersed in the apple ecosystem, this is by far the best set top box I have ever used. The picture quality is amazing and the ease of use with my other products is top notch. Well done Apple.

If you're an Apple owner then this product is for you. Most people have smart TV's but from what I noticed, you need storage for ample buffering to get a quality image. Because this device has onboard storage it has room to buffer and display a show at a true 60 frames per second. It just looks better if you're streaming from this rather than your smart TV. If you're an Apple Arcade subscriber you can download a game and pair your Xbox controller however I noticed a small bit of lag between the device and the controller. It was enough not to make gaming with a controller fun. That's what my PS5 and Xbox are for anyways. It's also great to play music on as it streams the Apple Music service and can do it to a HomePod pretty easily all while looking nice on your TV. All in all it's a good product. I don't use it often but when I do the experience is a great one.

Easy to set up and easy to use. The remote has touch scrolling that works very well. Picture quality is excellent.

I always believed that apple TV was just another Roku or Fire Stick. I've had Rokus on TVs I owned that were not smart, and I got used to the janky feeling you experience while navigating the menus. I've also owned several LG smart TVs, and if you've owned an LG TV you know how horrible webOS is, but I thought that was the norm so I didn't think anything of it. While I was browsing through youtube, I stumbled across a video reviewing the Apple TV and breaking down all of its features, and I was sold once I saw how seamlessly it operates within the Apple Ecosystem. I went to Best Buy the next day to buy one, and it is the best purchase I have made for my home theater. Apps open very fast and there is virtually no waiting for apps to load. The remote feels very high quality and I love that I can swipe on the touchpad to navigate the menus rather than having to press. Typing text is a breeze because I can use my iPhone to type rather than having to use those horrible janky smart TV keyboards. If the remote is too far (sometimes I am comfy and do not want to move) I can use my iPhone as a remote, which is one of my favorite features by far. These are just some of the many features that Apple TV has to offer. It is a very powerful machine and I highly recommend it if you are seeking to level up your entertainment experience.

I had a first generation 4K AppleTV which was great, but this 2nd generation AppleTV has more features and an amazing picture. Very intuitive interface and very easy to set up and use. This is our go to streaming device for all of the services we use. If you are in the market for a new streaming device, look no further. This is the best on the market. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love the new Apple TV 4K. It is easy to use and navigate. Love using Siri to quickly search instead of typing. It walks you through the setup of the device with your wifi and accounts. It works very well and it is easy to connect your Apple devices for screen casting. The new remote is great. This is my first Apple TV so I can’t compare it to previous models.

As a new adopter of apple products this integrates very well with the ecosystem. Product is sleek, quiet, remote is easy to use a tad sensitive but that may be fixed through the menus. Have not played games in it personally, our household strictly uses it for media playback consumption. Setup is easy, and having one of the newer iPhones allows you to calibrate your Apple TV to get the most out of your screen while using the Apple TV.

You do not need the Apple ecosystem to get the benefits of an Apple TV (well, minus being able to FaceTime from your TV). The Apple TV looks amazing, runs amazing, and is easy to use. It's probably the best streaming device out there. Worth the money!

I liked the boosted performance with the UI not lagging compared to my older apple tv and the fact this one came with an ethernet port over the 3rd gen 4k model. Unless you purchased the more expensive 3rd gen that comes with it. I also like the redesigned apple remote compared to the strickly touch pad remote of the apple tv 4th gen.

The Apple TV 4K 2nd Generation is my go to media streamer now. The interface is beautiful. It has apps for all my streaming services. I have also been enjoying the free few months of Apple TV+. This purchase has definitely been worth the purchase price. I am planning on getting a new TV as my current one isn't 4K but the Apple TV works fine with my 1080p TV.

Apple has continually improved the AppleTV and with the new remote style and the latest update, the unit controls applications just like an iOS device. Setup has gotten even easier, utilizing your iOS device or account information. Another great feature of the new remote, is the fact that it can power on and off the TV and AppleTV box, simplifying the on and off process.

As always, when I get an Apple product, it does what I expect it to do: work with my Apple stuff! I control my Apple TV with the remote, and I can control my regular TV volume with it so I don’t have to change to the other remote. I can easily access all of my streaming channels and watch my shows without having to rely on trying to connect my phone to a casting device. It’s a great thing to have!

I have owned a bunch of Apple TVs over the years. This is the fastest and the one with the best remote control (easy to hold and operate). If you like Apple TVs and you have the HD (previously 4th generation, came out in 2015) or earlier this is definitely worth the upgrade. If you have the 4K 1st gen that came out in 2017, this is not much of an upgrade.
