This solved the problem.

Apple 4K tv

Setup is easy, the remote is really good with Siri voice assistance and navigation is good. There are some smart TVs with a downloadable Apple TV app, if so you don’t really need this device.

Remote still not perfect but overall good upgrade

You have to be careful when you skip ahead and then start it up in Play mode again. If you don’t hit the button just right it will skip way ahead again. Overall, nice improvements. Love the AirPod integration.
