I’ve been using the 4K Apple TV everyday since I had it. I love it and I am glad I bought

Bought a new 4K 75" TV so I needed to upgrade my HD Apple TV module to 4K. It's picture quality is great and it has a fast processing speed however considering it's made in China it's little over priced. Thought about using the smart TV interface, but it didn't have near the app availability as the Apple TV. Also the new 75" TV had ARC connection compatibility issues with my old receiver and universal remote.

In my opinion, Apple TV is well worth the purchase. The interface is easy to use, smooth, and connects multiple sources in one place. It’s clear to see apple really polished this product. Only down side is that it is more expensive than other options.

This makes my third Apple TV. We replaced our original for the 4K features and love it.

My wife and I have had an Apple TV v.2 for several years. A show we got hooked on had 2 seriers on Nexflix, but to watch more we needed to get Daily Nation. The Apple 4k upgrade was the solution. Because we can't get cable, only DSL internet (1.2m per min, not 50, not 200, .....1.2!!!) I bought the larger capacity memory on the Apple 4k. Streaming is now without buffering pauses. And the ability to speak and spell account names, passwords, and search terms is a huge improvement. The old Apple TV v.2 is now in the bedroom.

Easily connects to your tv and network and setup was a breeze with another Apple device. Love the menu and how fast everything flows, no lag or connection issues so far after having it for about two weeks.

Pros: + Most streaming apps sync to Apple TV (app) except Netflix and Hulu. + Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+ on the big screen! + Product will have a long shelf-life considering its delivering 4K, 60hz, HDR10+ (if your TV supports it) + Memory size for those with big movie libraries + Siri is pretty smart and delivers promising results when asked to start playing music, show, etc. + Homekit integration (if you use it) also makes this a powerful tool Cons: - Price is a bit steep for a product 3 years old - Can't integrate Netflix or Hulu, which means you still have to switch apps to use those services - No Google Apps (besides Youtube) which hurts since my smart home is connected using Google

This is an upgrade from the previous version as I just purchased a 4K TV. So far it works exactly as expected. I bypass the smart apps on my TV and Blu-ray player as this is by far the cleanest way to stream. No complaints from me.

We purchased this bc the built in software on my Sony tv didn’t stream most things in 4K, no matter how good the signal is. This fixed the problem and produces a gorgeous picture. I use it every day, great buy.

Of course the 4th generation Apple TV was fantastic with the addition of the trackpad remote, siri direct on the remote, and a faster platform, so, when Apple added 4K compatibility, things only got better. This is a much better device than trying to use smart apps on a blu-ray or TV. Plus, you can throw the kids in front of it for a few minutes and let them try and set a high score on crossy roads.

I really like the Apple TV 4K. The interface is clean and polished, and probably most importantly smooth and snappy. Image quality and variety of content is great. Setup was very easy, with one exception. I’m using mine with a Vizio E65-F1 4k HDR tv, which supports HDR and Dolby Vision. The set is connected to my Apple TV via a Blackweb HDMI cable. HDR10 works great all the time. Dolby Vision works great EXCEPT for Apple content. When viewing Dolby Vision iTunes movies I have purchased, for example It: Chapter 2, and Apple TV+ content like See, there is a terrible pixelated halo effect in shadows. This is most apparent in the opening sequence of See which rapidly transitions from pure black to bright light. Around the lights are big blocks of color—looks like something from a CD video circa 1995. I called both Apple and Vizio tech support and neither seemed to be aware (though they both did some serious searching) of any issue similar, and neither was able to solve the problem for me. By accident, I came across a partial fix. By switching UHD Full Color to ON (or to OFF if it’s already on) while watching Dolby Vision content, the TV and Apple TV reset their connection and Dolby Vision works great. Interestingly, I have seen no such issues with HDR10 in any circumstance or with Dolby Vision content from Disney Plus—if the issue were present with Disney Plus, I would almost certainly have seen it in the opening of the Mandalorian, but I did not. Other than that one weird quirk, which I really hope will get cleared up with a firmware update at some point, I have really loved my new Apple TV 4K.

This is the third generation of Apple TV that I have owned, and I have been very satisfied with all of them. The 4K picture from this is great! Very easy to use and many selections available in the App Store.

We love it. It is so easy to use and has much better features than the original one.

Purchased this as a way to add and consolidate streaming services on the TV in our bedroom. I already had an older model Apple TV, a smart TV and a blu ray player but each would only let us use only specific apps, the TV would only let us watch Netflix (and not always at the best streaming rate), the old Apple TV could do Netflix and Hulu but no Disney+ or Vudu, and the blu ray would do Netflix and Vudu. Not that we watch it a lot in there but if we wanted to watch something it was a mess of remotes and changing inputs, it was a pain. Now we can use one remote to turn on the TV and Apple TV, control the volume, select any of our streaming services... It’s great. I plan to get one for my parents, to make it easier for them to use their streaming apps, too.

Pop this baby out of the box.. plug it in.. you’re off and running pretty much. Apple walks you thru every step clearly & easily. Only issue is a very sensitive remote but you get used to it or use your phone as the remote - very cool.

I bought the Apple TV 4K because I was having issues with my Roku Ultra and it is an upgrade in every way! Better picture.Better interface and navigation. Better voice control. Just better. Worth every penny!

It it perfect. It is super fast and much better than the Amazon FireStick I used before, I can use all the apps I had before and YouTube on the same device, I’m also able to project through apple AirPlay. This Apple TV became a 3-in-1 device for me.

We own a few of these in our home and love them. They work great and easy to setup. The only problem I have with them is that they are network bandwidth hogs. Since there is no built-in way to control the amount of traffic they use, one Apple TV can slow your home's network down to a crawl. Lucky for me, my firewall and switched network can do VLANs with rate limiting. I set a VLAN up with 30/30 Mbps Rate limit and was a huge help. before I did this, all four of our Apple TV's would hog up pour entire 1Gig internet connection.

If you have good internet connection and pick up several of these streaming services that are becoming more popular by the day you’ll only need one remote for your entertainment... the Apple TV remote. As more and more streaming services become integrated in to the Apple ecosystem Apple TV becomes more successful. It’s easy to use and you can even download some decent mobile games on it. I recommend that all Apple users invest in one. One downside that is don’t necessarily blame Apple or the Apple TV is the lack of compatibility of screen mirroring of certain streaming services. If they do not offer screen mirroring and you don’t have your Apple TV connected to internet it becomes almost useless. You also need internet for home automation as the Apple TV does not keep your automations locally to run over your network.
