Great alternative to the Switch

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been waiting for the Switch gaming machine to come back into stock ... and then realised that Apple Arcade combined with an Apple TV and a games controller would offer a far greater variety of games at a lower cost .... plus all the other opportunities that an Apple TV provides A great decision .... the children are over the moon ..... money has been saved .... and available now rather than having to wait a few months

I wanted access to my iTunes movie library so I had to buy an Apple TV 4K. I love this product! The movies play flawlessly and some of the programs on Apple TV+ are great. I got one year of Apple TV+ free, and it's only $4.95 a month from there. It includes a lot of channels plus some original programming. I couldn't be happier!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sting would’ve changed his lyrics if he would have Apple TV back then PLUS known what a joke MTV would be today compared to what it was when it pioneered actual original music on video. The 4K version is AWESOME! It upscales your regular HD signal and it looks so much better! So many more smart tv functions and gaming capabilities, too. Well worth the few extra dollars. Buy one to try. Soon you’ll want one for each tv, especially if you cut cable to save the big bucks each month!

With the trend to move off broadcast (air) TV, or overpriced cable, or satellite service the Apple TV is, hands down, the simplest unit I've used to drive streaming services. If you are an Apple household like we are, the flexibility to, without any special configurations or headache, Airplay content from iPhones, iPads, or Macs is a big deal.
