Love Apple TV 4K Device

So it made perfect sense when I upgraded my TV to 4K that I upgrade to Apple TV 4K and it doesn't disappoint. Although I do wish that all content would stream in 4K, however having said that Apple is working with content providers to switch movies to 4K as is Netflix. I find myself no longer using my cable box and in fact with Spectrum app launches I can get rid of the cable companies box altogether!

Easy to use

Don’t know that I’d say it’s a better choice than roku unless you have apple everything. That it enables Airplay to your tv is a plus if you’re an Apple user otherwise

Improved functionality but complicated setup

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought the new Apple TV because there were several streaming providers (HBO Max, Disney +) that we couldn't access with our Apple TV that was likely the original model. The latest version is better to use and the remote is much more functional. But I have to say that I was disappointed in the time it took to set up and the learning curve for using it. By Apple product standards the set up was complicated particularly since the remote is so different and there were no instructions included. Also, I think Apple made it harder than necessary to download the other streaming service apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Absent those issues I would have rated it excellent.
