Apple TV has pluses and minuses. As with most Apple products, not a lot of instruction included in the package as it should be intuitive to the user. Right. Okay, my husband and I think we're pretty smart, but we couldn't figure out how to make the TV turn off with the Apple TV remote. Seems we weren't the only ones. YouTube helped us out on the remote functions. We were excited about getting Apple TV, but then we had the difficulties with the functions and found out you can't record shows with it, only stream. We should have researched the device more before purchase. You can't really return this thing. Getting better the more we use it, but we will still have to get a DVR box from the cable provider to record shows that are not available On Demand (many aren't and/or not for as long as it would take us to get around to binge watching them). Somewhat disappointed to say the least with this purchase. It may end up going to our son who likes to stream more than we do.

So glad we upgraded from our original Apple TV box. Plenty of storage and easy to use with downloading the apps you want. We love it.

Bought this to replace my Roku that is less than a year old and dying. Every aspect of the Apple TV is better than any Roku I’ve had. The sound, picture quality and operation are perfect. The remote design is genius, especially how it charges. I bought this because I knew Apple would not disappoint. I have an iPhone, 2 iPads, an iWatch, and a MacBook Air. They are all flawless. The Apple TV is right in line with my expectations of an Apple product.

I had the 2nd version of the appleTv and decided to upgrade to this model. The picture is much better and is really easy to set up. I would highly recommend.

What a difference in speed from my original Apple TV 2nd gen. Love the fact apps are not preloaded and I can select which ones I want to download. The remote takes some getting used to specially the top portion which feels much like a touchpad and I find my fingers accidently sliding around it causing unwanted commands.

Very user friendly to setup. I had the older version and really like some of the updated festers plus it’s fast

I’ve never used an Apple TV before I purchased it and I’m glad I went with it over something like the amazon or other competitors. If you have an iPhone I highly recommend over the other options since you can pair it with the phone and control it without the remote. The only down side is that the remote does take some getting used to and typing isn’t ideal with it, but that’s why you should use your iPhone or iPad to navigate the Apple TV anyway as it is very simple to setup given you are on the same WiFi connection as the Apple TV.

I had the older model Apple TV but this one is much easier to use and has better options. I like that i can pick which apps I want. The picture quality is amazing.

A little pricey but honestly there is really no faults with it. Easy interface and integration with other Apple products.
