Works well and is easy to use. I like the ability to use my iPhone or mr iPad as a remote. It’s also the only way to use a Apple product to screen mirror. The one word of caution is you will need a high quality HDMI cable, tried to use a cheap-o cable and it would flash the logo for a second and go blank. Used the one off my blue ray and it worked fine.

Easy set up and great sound for the price Love it was a gift

I had the base Apple TV model and decided to get another one for a second TV in the house. I bought the 4K model. To the untrained eye, it is hard to notice a real difference but I believe there is a difference for sure. Easy to use, easy to set-up, and easy to access purchase movies. Naturally it is a set top type product so does not hide as well as other products available. Still my preferred choice.

Ok, I'll confess, I haven't updated my Apple TV since Gen 1. That platform was stable (albeit limited... no apps) and never crashed. The remote was easy to use and it worked all the time. The good: This new one is GREAT because it's 4K... the resolution is amazing! There are loads of optional apps to download. Voice command on the remote for passwords and logins actually works really well. Oh, and the screensaver city scapes are gorgeous. The meh: The touch pad is extremely sensitive and I haven't gotten used to it. I'm hoping over time it'll get easier. Netflix and Hulu crash way more often than the Gen 1 (which was never)... I'm estimating about 2-3 times per week where it just boots you out of the app altogether.

I purchased the Apple TV 4K thinking it would be just another streaming box. I couldn't have been more wrong! It's an amazing device, incredibly intelligent, and extremely functional. Voice commands accuracy is very high, functionality is great, and image/sound quality stunning. Some will hate the remote but it is not bad and you will get used to it. It's expensive but you get what you pay for.

I have my experiences with the Roku Ultra to compare with the Apple TV streamer. The video quality and processing chip is so much more advanced in the Apple TV, but the geniuses at Apple left out the audio output!!??!! I had to get a UHD HDMI splitter that passes thru HDR so I can run one HDMI to my pre/pro and the other directly to the TV. How hard would have been to include an optical out!?! There is a distinct learning curve with the Apple remote but once you get the hang of it and watch a few YouTube videos on tips, tricks, etc, you find how cool it really is.

easily downloads apps and excellent picture quality

We absolutely love the new Apple TV 4K. The picture is outstanding. Easy to use. Cut the cable cord.

I’m a fan of Apple TV and this was an upgrade from my 3rd gen. The picture and feature are nice but it was a bit pricey in my opinion. The only reason I need it is for iTunes access as all other apps are on my TV.

The Apple TV is easy to use and provides a great HD picture. It is fun touse and to watch!

This is my 5th AppleTV purchase. Love the device so much that I keep upgrading and adding them to our TVs. Put this with our new 4K TV in the master bedroom and the picture and sound quality are great. The one screen feature is great as I just had to login with my Apple ID and it put all the apps I had on my other AppleTVs just as they are.

The Apple TV is built with such quality. It performs perfectly over WiFi due to it's superior chip sets. Many mid range TV's come with poor chips and by pairing the Apple TV, one can focus on the picture and not worry about the WiFi performance or software performance of the TV.

Great picture quality and sound. Just be sure to watch your “Video and Audio” settings: I had to turn off the “Match content frame rate” option so that the picture would not go black and all of my content would play from episode to episode. But still a great way to get your content in one place. And the navigation is getting better all the time.

Nice streamer with a lot of features. I have an iPhone and an iPad so it’s cool that you can share your music library and stuff like that between devices. That’s just one neat thing... I’m still figuring it out and finding more stuff. It’s pricey but I don’t regret buying it to try it out. One of the better high end streamer boxes in my opinion.
