I currently own 3 of these and they work as expected. I love the apple tv and subscribe to several streaming services with no issues. We love the 4K movies streaming on our 4k tv.

Glad I upgraded to the AppleTV 4K edition. It takes advantage of both my 4K TV and receiver. The picture is awesome. I’ve been using the Apple TV for several years and as always, everything just works as it’s supposed to.

Love streaming with it. Use my sling Netflix and Hulu with it and all comes through great. Love that it has apps you can download and play with and you can mirror your iPhone to it making a lot of things easier 5/5 would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely the best screaming device I have purchased. I am a big apple fan and being able to log in to my iTunes account is worth the cost. There are also many other apps you can down load and use. Not disappointed and is a must buy.

We first bought this and then returned it because we thought that we could put the Spectrum app on our other TV... When we were unable to put the app directly on our older Samsung TV, we bought this again... We were easily able to put the Spectrum app, the NFL Network App, and others onto the Apple device and then play on our TV through an HDMI cable.... Its pricey though, like all Apple devices...

Easy to set up with iPhone. Puts out an amazing 4K picture. Only gripe is that it seems to loose connectivity and I’ll have a green screen or blank signal and have to unplug to reset. Happens with both units.

I didn’t think there would be much difference between this and the older non 4K. But now Apple is turning most of their movies into 4K and this automatically switches them (at no cost to the customer as long as you e already purchased the movie).

Easy to use. Little expensive because you can buy a roku for a whole lot cheaper

Got another Apple TV for the gym to try out Apple Fitness +. Easy to install and love how my door bell integrates with Homekit and shows a live feed on my TV's when motion or someone rings the door bell.

4K is great. Being able to go 2-up, 3-up, or 4-up on WatchESPN and FoxSports Go is awesome. But it won’t let the TV control the motion flow (soap opera effect) though, so until that’s fixed it’s not perfect.

Got this as a gift for someone else, but have used it for ourselves and love it. I don’t really care for the remote - takes a little getting used to. But other than that, can’t really complain!

I have the old Apple TV and the new one is great! The remote is better than before.

I know some may think it’s not worth it because of price but it’s just another amazing product. You can easily control from your phone and you can set it up with ease! Another part of the apple family!

I had an earlier version of this product and liked it enough to upgrade to this version. It took a little getting use to mainly because the remote is different. I also had to download appropriate applications when the first came with a boat load. Over all this is better since the originals did always work with a fee. That added a lot of clutter to the home screen. Now I have what I use.

Second time purchase retired the old one to another room. Lots of bells and whistles on the new version. Very sensitive remote that takes a little time to get used to. Still the best option out there, in my opinion

This device will get the full 4K and HDR on your TV. Excellent interface and user experience. My preferred , Hulu, Netfilx, Disney+, Youtube, iTunes movies, Movies Anywhere, Spotify, Pluto, PBS, Hoopla, Kanopy, VLC.

I bought this in early 2021 so this review reflects the fact that it's a bit of old tech. No announcement of a new version yet (currently March 29 2021) but a new version will most likely be coming soon. As for this version, I'd say hold off until the new one comes out and/or the price further drops. Currently this was designed for the world of 2017, so doesn't offer much beyond what you're already going to have in your smart TV. It does sync more easily with your phone, but those are mostly novelty features that I didn't use much. The remote is garbage as you may have heard/read. It feels nice and all, but looks outdated and even worse, is coated in glass! In fact, I dropped the remote after owning this device for all of two ays, and the glass portion shattered. Sure, I dropped it in the concrete floor of my basement, but it was a simple drop of about 3.5 ft, and the thing exploded with shards of glass, rendering it useless. Overall I'd say take a pass. It's a great device (for 2017), but the new one coming soon will surely make this one obsolete.

I have a Android TV and an Amazon fire TV. Out of the three I like the Apple TV for it simpleness. The one thing I don't like is how some apps I use on my Amazon tv or Android TV aren't on it(e.g twitch). But it does have third party versions.

If you want a "one stop" for your movie entertainment this is it. I was so impressed, I bought one for my four adult daughters for the holidays for their homes. This is the type of technology that will be with us in our home for a long time.

This product works well for me and my family as an alternative to cutting off cable. Believe it or not, there is life after cable. I would give it five stars, but have an issue with being forced to sit through ads (commercials) during free programming. There must be a way to block this so we don’t have to run for cover during every inappropriate ad. Everything else works flawlessly and the setup is easy. No buffering during programming.
