I have been an Nvidia Shield loyalist for YEARS. The Shields started feeling slower and didn't have the feature set I needed these days so I looked into the latest Apple TV. Since the update to the new remote, these have been FANTASTIC. GREAT picture, very fast and smooth and easy set up if you have an iphone. I don't like that they removed the ethernet port on the base model, but it still works great. Bought these for my parents too.

Two generations ago to this one so I could pass down thr older model, i picked this one up open box and in immaculate condition for $20-30 bucks off. Great investment. The remote alone was worth the hundred and change I spent. The speed of the faster A12(?) chip compared with the A8 in my older unjt is noticeably quicker with a much faster and more reactive interface. The design is also now fanless so it’s got a thinner profile and storage amounts have stayed put but I don’t need a terabyte on Apple TV. The apps are small enough it’s a non issue. Even with the smaller model. I’d definitely consider if adding to or upgrading from an older 1080p or original 4K model. Although I’ve heard you can buy the new remote for use on the older models. Still, at 60-70% of the price of the entire unit, may as well get the latest and fastest as Apple doesn’t upgrade these guys as often. Nor do you need worry about the updated versions each release

Nevertheless, I've found that using the Apple TV app on my iPhone as a remote control is a handy workaround when the physical remote acts up. In summary, the Apple TV 64 GB is an incredible addition to any home entertainment setup. It offers a vast selection of content, integrates seamlessly with other Apple devices, and provides an immersive viewing experience. While the remote control issue is a slight annoyance, it's far from a deal-breaker, and there are workarounds available. Had a fire tv and firestick that seemed slow with certain apps like Hulu. Got two of these for living room and bedroom and could not be happier. Love using an iPad and an iPhone as remote. Best purchase in awhile!

Incredibly fast, and great picture quality, major upgrade from the built-in OS on the TV. Worth the spend just for the lack of frustration in dealing with the native apps. The bonus is being able to access almost everything you have in iCloud, including pictures/videos, etc.

Bought this as an addition to a new tv. Connected no problem and I’m able to setup and sync to my Apple account with no problems. I like the interface and it’s very easy to use. I haven’t had any stability problems at all.

I put this on my old LG C7 OLED. The interface is fast, clean and not riddled with ads. The dual AirPod audio is also an awesome feature. I’d recommend this to anyone who needs a streamer box.

Works very well, even with our older, first generation Bravia Television set. It was easy to comport our existing streaming services with this new Apple device.

I love the new generation apple Tv. It is very easy to use and very fast. It is a lot faster than google and Roku tv. Also, apple tv supports wifi 6 which is very fast.

My previous Apple TV stopped working and was stuck in a boot-loop. I was able to place a pick-up order for the next morning and was up and running in no time. The updated OS on the upgraded device is awesome, super simple to use, and has plenty of customization options to tailor it to your needs.
