This was actually the second Apple TV I've purchased. We loved the first one and decided we needed another one for our other television. I've used the Fire TV Cube and Stick, as well as a Roku stick and a Chromecast. This is better than all of those. It's more powerful, and it's incredibly easy to use.

Apple TV is the best smart tv device on the market still. Its interface and quality is significantly better than the rest. The App Store and comparability is also better than any of the other devices I’ve tried in the past. The only minus would be the remote. It does have some neat features and high quality, but having an aluminum case makes it loud against tables and nightstands, and the swipe gesture feature can be a bit frustrating at time. It also acts as a smart home hub that connects lots of devices so that’s a huge bonus as well!

This is my 2nd Apple TV for the house. Super simple and easy to use. Even for my in-laws, they have adapted to using it within 24 hours. Hands down the best streaming device out there.

Having upgraded from the original 4K Apple TV with the black Siri Remote I can with certainty say this new remote is a huge step up! Wasn’t sure about it at first but it’s harder to lose, easier to use with the power button, and feels more substantial in the hand. I love it. The Apple TV it’s self is way quicker too, just works a little faster. That speeds a bit more noticiable in games but I’m glad I upgraded!

This Apple TV streaming device made it a whole lot easier for us to get to our tv apps! We love it!

The upgraded remote works so much better and has the twist button from the older generation iPod as well as arrows to click on. Much more user friendly than the older model. Works great!

Replaced our old apple TV that we've had for more than ten years. The features on this new one are excellent, user interface is comprehensive and viewing is pure joy.

I find this product connects easy, works great with intuitive remote and a very logical layout. All my Apple devices connects with ease for either typing or sharing. What I like best about this product is the way it streams without any pauses or audio latency. It is solid through all my apps. I found my smart TV is glitchy and this fixes the problem.

I have 2 AppleTVs and just purchased a 3rd for my girlfriend. They are great devices in regards to performance, picture, and interface. Is very intuitive and snappy compared to her previous Roku. The parental control integration is amazing and adaptive to most apps outside of AppleTV like Hulu, but some like Max must be set in app. So my little complaint is no HDMI cable is included and not clearly indicated on the box. Big complaint you must have an AppleTV subscription for it to track what you watch. My devices at home only have me as the user and with subscription it tracks what I watch across devices, so every device knows what episode or stopping point of my shows. That feature is amazing, however my girlfriend is not subscribed so have noticed when her account is active it doesn't reflect her watch history, but if switched to mine its all there. Seems silly she has to buy one for it to track this activity but is what it is.

At first, I wasn't sure there would be enough value for the price, but I was wrong. First of all, connection and setup were super easy. After having used two other streaming devices, the Apple TV is by far the easiest to connect, and the navigation is simple. Picture quality is great, and the remote is very intuitive.

Amazing upgrade from the last apple TV. much faster and more responsive. remote is much larger and less chance to be lost.

This is the third one I have purchased within 60 days. This was definitely a great investment.

It’s absolutely infuriating handing even one more dollar to this crooked money grubbing company… but Apple TV is the closet thing to perfection (for iPhone users) available. In fact, you can go ahead and pretend that there is an alternative and save a couple bucks buying a chromecast or a fire, but if you have used all of them like I have, you should know that will lose even more grey hairs with the other options. But sorry, you will curse the Apple TV too. My iPhoto screensaver can’t decide to work more than 50% of the time. If you really really need a capable non Apple alternative… try the Nvidia.

This product totally transformed the vibe of my TV! I paired to my mini homepods with Apple TV 4K, and sounds insane. But now, with this product, it’s a whole different ball game! If you’re into music, you’ll love it. And the UI is so much better now. It’s a game-changer!

AppleTV, in this instance their latest/greatest Gen. 3, 4K version, once again hits the ball out of the park in Grand Slam homer fashion. The picture clarity is stunning, especially when one considers most forums are streamed via less-than-ideal WiFi conditions. A hardwired Ethernet connector is provided for those fortunate enough to have that superior form of network throughput. I love the option to standardize the main menu screen among other AppleTVs under the same roof. That way wherever you are and whatever you’re viewing—at any given moment—can be stopped and picked up where you left off in another room without the hassle of searching for the same app. Although I personally don’t use the Siri Remote feature, the new metal body handheld remote allows that advanced function in addition to being able to quickly access the TV and navigate your selections. The look and feel of the new and improved remote puts earlier versions to shame! There is one thing lacking I wish it had: an optical audio output. Being able to connect digital audio directly to a separate sound system is very handy as well as providing the best HiFi sound in stereo or Surround (Dolby) Sound. Thankfully my television has a digital audio output jack which works. All-around, Apple has earned a 5-star review and a hearty BRAVO from this reviewer.
