So I have tried literally every other type of streaming box you can get every single generation every single model of the Chromecast, several Android TV boxes, like six or seven different Roku devices, even an Nvidia shield.... Absolutely nothing beats the speed and ease of use of an Apple TV. Everything just works and it's not horrendously slow. Yes it's more expensive than all the other devices, but its worth it especially if you value your time! I should note that I use a samsung Z Fold 4 and an iphone 13 pro max. Having an iphone to use with it is awesome seeing as you can use it as a remote, definitely not necessary though.

we spent a year using our smart TVs interface for our streaming apps, but once we switched to this apple TV there was an immediate improvement in speed and ease! cant recommend enough. also, i was previously using two different remotes to turn on/navigate our TV and control our sound bar, but i was able to program the apple tv remote to do it all. plus it has siri?!? bless

Obviously, if youve spent $6k on a home theater, then you’ll want a BluRay player with 4K HDR, etc. For streaming though, this is top-notch. The newest tvOS is finally making profiles usable and some UI gripes are fixed. The newer remote is great, and reminds of few of us aging millennials of the iPod click wheel. The setup and calibration features are really appreciated as they helped get the best picture possible. Overall, this has to be the best streaming player to be worth the price premium over smaller players and it absolutely does for my needs.

I purchased this because my 5 year old Sony TV was locking up on me every few days. Whatever updates, the TVs processer just couldn't handle it. The Apple TV not only solved the problem it actually improved the Video quality as well as the apps run much smoother and quicker. Very pleased with this product.

a friend of mine has one of these and from afar it looked pretty good. So I was looking to replace on of my roku's and thought I'd take the plunge. the out of the box quality was far superior than what i had. the ease of setup and operation is just out standing and it's speed is great. The picture quality and app selection is very good. I will recommend Apple TV to all my friends.

Easy setup!! Allows for the viewing of Spectrum TV through their app. Syncing with other apple products makes it very convenient to enter act with them.

I have had Roku, Fire, and built-in Google Tv; but once again, Apple makes something that is just a little bit classier. The others work, but if you’re on the Apple ecosystem, this is worth buying. The family especially likes that their profiles are automatically synced with their devices. If you aren’t an Apple person, then save the money and go with one of the other platforms.

I have four of these in my house now, and all of them get pretty regular use. I never run into any problems, setup is a breeze, and the overall experience is fantastic. They're a bit pricier than other devices in this category, but there's a reason for that.

I became interested in this device because of the ability to sync with my other Apple products. And I can use it as a hub of sorts. This means that because of how interconnected with streaming apps the TV device is, I can do a general search for a movie or show and I would find it 90% of the time. I even found shows from my youth that might be obscure, but there they were. I have a choice of viewing on the particular streaming app or directly on the Apple TV app. If there's no subscription to the streaming app, then I can buy or rent through Apple TV. Picture quality is good, depending on your setup. And the responsiveness and accuracy are excellent. The remote can be tricky to use at first but you get used to it. This is probably one of the best investments I have made in years.

The Apple TV is just like most other streaming devices, but… it’s better. I have had a Roku, I’ve used the built in system on my Samsung TV, but the Apple TV Destroys them all. It is fast, intuitive, and …fun to use?!? Use the remote for ten minutes and you’ll find that you no longer need to look down when using it. This is MUCH BETTER than any of the other streaming devices out there.

The Apple TV 4K is easily the best streaming device I’ve used. It’s incredibly fast, smooth, and reliable, with no lag when navigating menus or opening apps. Everything feels polished and responsive.
