Awesome upgrade from the last model, very fast and amazing quality. The white circle around the menu button is also a great addition for ease of use on the remote. Definitely recommend upgrading if you haven't already.

I'm extremely happy with this product. Eliminated problem I had streaming through BluRay player and TV. Great picture and sound quality, especially 4K and Atmos content. Very reliable device. Slight learning curve with remote.

The new edition of Apple TV is great. Easy, instinctual, set up. Incorporating Siri makes navigation easy, and dare I say, fun. It also allows you to seamlessly stream apps, which is useful if your cable provider doesn't offer your favorite channel (happened to us). All in all, it may appear a bit pricey, but it's a useful way to make the most of your tv watching experience. Also, as expected, build quality is excellent.

Apple TV is simple to use and the new touch pad remote with Siri is very convenient. The touch bad can be a bit tricky at times, and I still prefer the Roku user interface, but in an Apple home, this device is a necessity.

Did a lot of research on the new Apple TV after watching pros and con on it even after all the cons I bit the bullet and said to myself there is always people that just have to complain no matter what so I put out the money and bought it. I have a first series Apple TV it works great, but this series blows the door off the old one, easier to operate and the picture quality is out of this world easy to setup If you sign in with your Apple account it puts all your information in automatically for a much faster setup and you can even add apps from the Apple Store something you can’t do with the older Apple Tv remote is easy to use and has a rechargeable battery can’t tell you how long it will last but there is a icon telling you the charge rate. If you have a older series you will be amazed at all the upgrades and ease of the operation of this unit. Buy it you won’t regret it

This 4k Apple TV streamer is a really capable device. It's connection to wifi is superior to Roku ( i have both) Audio and Video is really good. Streaming Blade Runner 2049 is just awesome 4k HDR with Atmos which the Apple 4k TV handles perfectly. If you have a non 4k TV ( i did for awhile, then finally updated to 4k) you might experience some odd blinking of video with a 1080p TV. With a 4k TV this does not occur. Some geeky details. The setup has options to set the bit depth and test the HDMI cable. The HDMI Cable test failed and lost picture after the test. It was connected to to a Yamaha Aventage surround receiver. To fix it I had to connect it direct to the TV then restart/repower it and the TV. Finally got this straightened out. I think the problem is the bit depth on the HDMI receiver input fails but the Apple device thinks its ok so it sets itself to beyond what the receiver can do. 4.2.2 is what works on the Apple unit now when connected the Yamaha. The Samsung TV will do 4.4.4 but the receiver won't pass that. The remote control is bit fiddly not a fan of the track pad it uses but once one works with it you get used to it. It does sync perfectly with all of the apple devices we have which is real bonus. Price is a bit high. Recommended but watch the setup so you won't get stuck with no picture.

I was skeptical about the picture quality difference but took the chance. The picture quality is night and day (provided you have a 4k TV). Also the on-board memory has eliminated any lagging/loading problems with the original version, during movie play as well as menus don't load anymore (or don't seem to) the menus are there and ready to browse instantly - not like before when you had to wait for them to load, sometimes minutes (we have about 2000 movies). Remote is a but funky and very sensitive (if you touch it by accident, sitting on sofa, movie pauses, rewinds, etc. because of super sensitive touch pad), but has way more features than previous & it's rechargeable via lightening plug like iPhones. Just keep it on a table and all is good. I use the old ones to travel with - beats the PPV in the hotels!

We recently found out that our LG TV was just a >bit< too old to let us download some of the streaming apps we want to use (Disney+ being the primary one). And our Comcast cable box also would not allow us to download this app. This forced my family to pick a streaming box. Because we currently are bought in to the Apple ecosystem, this was the logical choice. Very easy to set up. Connected to wifi without issue. Remote is sleek and cool, though it takes some getting used to using the track pad feature. Voice remote is akin to Comcast Xfinity voice control. Nice ability to create multiple profiles for different family members. Also extremely easy to use Apple Airplay to stream content from phone (photos, videos, etc) onto TV.

This is the best Apple TV ever. I'm definitely not an Apple boy. The picture is stunning. The app availability is great. How it seamlessly works with apps is giving Roku a run for their money. The 4K picture is great. But I am having problems here and there with apps acting up. But for the picture quality and the user interface so friendly and the apps availability it gets an excellent from.me.

Upgraded from the regular HD version to this 4K model. The picture quality is outstanding. And like this interface more than my Smart TV's built-in version. Well worth the money for this upgrade.

So I’ve had multiple devices that stream, Blu-ray players, TVs, roku, game consoles. This little box is in many ways similar to them, however it comes with some added benefits. Apple is pretty assertive with their updates, and that doesn’t exclude the Apple TV. So new features come to it regularly, like the option for Dolby Atmos. The interface is smooth and has the backing of the App Store to keep it fed with plenty of options. I know that roku has a lot of obscure and unique channels to explore, and that’s cool, but I found myself really only using the mainstream apps anyway. This box integrates into the apple ecosystem great, with typing ability through your iPhone or iPad, streaming macs, iPads, and iPhones using airplay, and it has a lot of storage for things like games if you want that. Overall, a great purchase.

The big news here is the ability to stream 4K movies. Typical Apple ease of use.

I upgraded from an older Apple TV, and it was very much worth it for the new features! The new Apple TV is great! I love the Siri remote features. During a movie, you can ask the TV, "What did he just say?", and it rewinds 15 seconds and replays with subtitles temporarily enabled. Or, you can ask "Who is that actor?", and it tells you! I also really love the "Aerial" screensaver. It's silent, ambient, 4K drone footage filmed above major cities around the world, and other landmarks. It's incredibly beautiful and mesmerizing to watch. As for the basic features, it all works great, and Apple TV has all the content I could need. iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO, Sling, Vudu, PlayStation Vue, Pandora, SiriusXM, Smithsonian, and much more. And it's very easy to stream video from a computer or cell phone.

It’s about time Apple came out with 4K the sound and picture quality is Amazing

This is the best purchase I have made in some time. The set-up was easy, and made even easier with the iPhone transferring certain data. The picture on my Sony 4K is amazing and blows away any other service I have owned. It was actually easier and to use the apps in the Apple Tv than the built in Apps on my Smart Tv. Watching "Midsomer Murders" on the Smart TTv would insert a commercial ever-so-often. On the Apple TV, No Commercial,. Don't know why.

If you want the best 4K streamer, this is it. Having the best comes at a price and it’s worth it. Same quality you can expect from Apple. It’s reliable, very fast, smooth, easy to navigate...can’t go wrong. Love it.

Amazing picture quality and sound! Dolby Vision is the best. Supports other sound formats and has high quality screen savers that display on your UHD/4K screen and look beautiful. Some people complain about the remote, but its actually really well organized and can be programmed to make it simplified. You can get used to the remote and find it helpful. Just don't misplace it. Overall the picture quality and access to Apple TV Plus, make it worthwhile for anyone to adopt this great streamer. If you are an Apple customer already (iphone or Mac), this is THE ONE to get because it makes mirroring and streaming from Apple Music and Spotify easier as well.
