Better than Chromecast

A bit dated, but works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Apple TV hasn't been updated in 3 years now (since 2012), but it still works well and streams all the typical Netflix, Hulu, etc. AirPlay is wonderful to use, everything works very smoothly with other Apple products and iTunes.

Does what I want it to do

First was to be able to play my media whether it is music, photos or videos over my tv from my phone, computer, or iPad. Second was to be able to stream MLB.tv games on the tv as compared to just on my phone or iPad. It works great for both of these things. I dont subscribe to Hulu, Netflix or the like but I assume that it would work just as well for those things as well. Overall very happy with my purchase. Make sure your Internet is fast and capable of streaming at a high rate to get the most bang out of this product.

New apps automatically download to your home screen, but most of the time they are useless. Great easy to use product otherwise, highly recommended if you own other Apple devices.
