Small, smart, and DRM free so far. I like to copy my movies and keep them on the computer to share with iTunes throughout the house. The PS3 I had been using is getting caught up with newer copy protections. Apple TV reads movies from iTunes without the problems I was having on the PS3. I use it to mirror the laptop too for a bigger screen. It's also very useful for making the TV into an extra monitor so I have twice the desktop workspace. Very useful little box.

Super easy setup. Point your phone at device and it syncs up. Great if you have an iPhone and use Netflix. If you also have Amazon Prime for streaming you can't use this. Overall I love it

Works well, easy set-up, many features, game-changer for us. We use it to stream Amazon Prime and find it better than the Samsung built-in system for streaming HBO Go, Netflix, etc.

The Apple - Apple TV® - Black works as advertised. No problem hocking it up or using it. I have not subscribed to any services yet but looking forward to getting more use out of it.

If you already have Apple products, this is a great addition to get movies, pictures and music to your TV and/or Sound System. It's easy to setup and works so well that anyone can use it. AirPlay is fast and easy. Great for streaming movies and once you login with your info you have access to everything. Best if you have your computer with your iTunes music on the same network so you can access it all without needing to use an iPhone, iPod or iPad with AirPlay.

I'm happy with the Apple TV. Easy to set up and use. If you have other Apple devices, it integrates with them with no effort. Tons of channels, and movies to choose from. Great buy!!

Bought this for my beach house to mirror my Iphone 4S. I'm able to stream and mirror my Iphone 4S and Ipad AIR onto my TV. I have no TV service at my beach house and only internet. So I rely on this for TV entertainment. So far it has worked great for me. Only downside is that some apps wont allow mirroring. Can't fault the Apple TV for that since it is the app that blocks the feature. The unit has lots of apps to use and it easy to set up and use.

The Apple TV is a great media streaming device. The initial set-up was straight forward and it has a lot of out-puts. I favorite is the inclusion of a fiber optic audio port to direct sound to my surround sound. The remote that comes with the Apple TV is the classic silver candy bar remote that Apple makes. It's a little skinny for someone with big hands but works well enough. The interface of the Apple TV is all tiled and square icons. The interface takes time to get used to if you have used a different streaming device like the Roku. The most annoying part is the absence of certain apps like Amazon Instant (ones the might be in competition with Apple...).

There were a few hiccups with connecting this device to our wireless network; however, all in all this little device definitely delivers. Great quality, easy to use, and user friendly!

I was reluctant to buy AppleTV because I already had two Smart TVs. The only reason I broke down and bought one is because I wanted to watch Game of Thrones on HBO Now and Apple was the only platform that was compatible at the time. There was no indication when they would offer it on other platforms. I was in my free trial of HBO Now and was just going to let it expire, but I just couldn't wait to see GOT!! So, I caved and bought the Apple TV. It is too expensive in comparison to similar products, which is typical of Apple. However, it is very easy to hook up and very easy to use. There aren't too many applications that are on it that I did not have available on my other platforms, but I am loving watching HBO. If you do not already have a Smart TV or another device, it is probably a better deal. I thought being able to play iTunes on my TV would be great, but it only plays what you have purchased, not anything you have imported. Overall, it works well and is user-friendly.

The Apple TV is easy to set up and use. The best part is that it syncs with iPhones, macs, and iPads, so that anything on your device can be shown on your tv to share with your family/friends . There is no access to Amazon Prime video though. For that reason, Roku 3 is a better alternative.

I was on the fence with this purchase. Finally got off and purchased it. I am glad I did. Does everything I wanted and more. Easy setup and very easy to use. Go ahead and get your own.

This product is great all around! Simple to setup and use. (Would you expect anything less from Apple?) It can be attached to any TV with an HDMI outlet and viola, instant smart TV.

great little media player. works great for technophobes, easier to set up and use than a Roku. Slightly clunky interface, but it's also really old tech. Price is fantastic, though.

I purchased Apple TV as a teaching tool, so that I could show photos and videos from my iPad and MacBook without a projector. The setup and controls are simple, and it worked seamlessly--what I especially liked was not having to mirror what was on the screen (though that is also an option), as I was able to show just photos and videos cleanly, without having to clean up my homescreen. For sports it is a necessity, especially if you are into soccer and tennis. Instead of watching specific matches or replays that are only available via an application such as Watch ESPN on your tablet or computer, you can now choose to watch them on the TV monitor.

We killed cable and have been watching Amazon, Hulu, Netflix and the big three on a laptop. Moving to the easy-to-use and high quality Apple TV was a game changer and now the TV has a purpose again. Being able to project whatever is on the iPad is a separate plus. Fun and easy!

I love my Apple TV! It is so portable and convenient. Easy set-up and you can use anywhere that has an HDMI hook up. I also bought one for my mom and boyfriend - they love it as well!

Works perfectly I have on every tv in my house! Wether you want Netflix Vevo or just streaming music. It also has Apple AirPlay so you can mirror what's on your phone it's perfect!

This Gen of Apple TV seems to be a great Companion to my TV and iPhone. It always works and is easy to set up. Great quality viewing.

Apple tv is simply great. I love the menu and ease of use. its super simple and easy set up. i love the updates. wish there were more apps available alla cart.
