Bought this after I returned the chromecast. Apple TV syncs all my devices perfectly. I primarily use it to put youtube videos on my tv from my ipad air. works awesome!

This is our 2nd Apple TV. We watch television in 2 places in our home. We had the Apple TV for one and the Roku for the other. It was difficult to decide which device we would want a second model of but the Apple TV is the one we chose. That shouldn't take anything away from the Roku, it was a tough choice and they both have a place in our home. This device though will probably be the one that we will travel with. I really like the compatibility of the Apple TV with the iphone. Might have been the tie breaker.

The Apple TV has been a great buy. It streams video well and works easily with other Apple devices. Only down side is no access to Amazon Prime video. I am also looking forward to a newer version as this one is two years old, but am happy with how well this model performs.

Really like this product for streaming movies. Easy set up with one HDMI cable. Good connection to my wifi!! Like the air play feature. Very happy with this purchase.

I hooked up this Apple TV to my Samsung HDTV and it worked perfect.Easy setup by HDTV cable, automatically switches back & forth from TV to Apple TV at a push of a button.

Apple TV is worth every penny! So many options and simple to set up.

I own a number of AppleTV units (one for every TV and stereo and one for traveling). They operate wirelessly or via ethernet connection to any computer running iTunes to allow you to stream music or movies from your iTunes library to your home TV or A/V system. The interface is easy to navigate and the units are easy to set up. In addition to streaming from your local iTunes library you can also stream music/videos from dozens of internet sites provided through the AppleTV interface (including Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, HBO, Disney, Showtime, etc. plus dozens of news, sports, and entertainment outlets, etc. - note that some sites require a subscription though many are free). You can even take it with you on vacation. I've streamed content from iTunes running on my laptop to a hotel TV that had an HDMI input. You can also stream content from the internet using the hotel WiFi connection.

Had no idea this would be so easy to setup and use!! The only negative is the small remote.

I love my Apple TV and actually have one in 3 different rooms. We also have a smart tv but choose to use the Apple TV over that. It's very simple to use and move the choices around. I love that I can also play slideshow of my personal pictures. Also, being able mirror my screen of my iPhone or iPad is fantastic. I've actually gotten a few of my friends addicted to it and have since purchased their on apple tvs. You do need to have a decent internet speed though. My parents live in the country and have to use satellite intenet that is slow. So when I tried my Apple TV there it worked but buffered a lot and the picture was grainy.

Easy to connect to TV and internet. Replaced DVD player , can stream and watch everything on a full size tv from laptop, iPad or iPhone. Can also use in hotels when traveling.

The Apple TV system was easy to set up and after a few attempts easy to understand. Two things that would make this product better would be to include an HDMI cable with the Apple TV box, the HDMI cable should also be at least 8ft long. The second thing that I think would be helpful is if the power cord were longer too. As a digital immigrant I have to say that using the micro remote control is a little frustrating. Its a sad day when you have to ask your 10 year old son to show you how to use the remote. Dont get me wrong I like Apple TV but I just think that its a little frustrating to deal with in the beginning.

We already had an Apple TV in our living room but we decided to get one for our daughter because her cromecast had so many problems. We also buy a lot of movies through Apple to put on my daughters iPad so it only made sense to switch her to an Apple TV that had all her Disney movies on it and her Netflix account. It's super easy for her to use and you do not have to have another device to stream from while using the Apple TV. You can also take off the "channels" that you do not want or for parental control. Over all, it's a great product for streaming media and a great choice for something for the kids room.

Love my AppleTV. It's so small it almost becomes invisible on my console. Apple continues to add new content and channels, thus adding even more value to my purchase. I prefer my AppleTV over a SmartTV because everything is streamlined. Ease of use... and, it works well with my other Apple products. Ex: I can mirror my other devices on my TV to entertain friends, or during a presentation. AppleTV will only get more content!

I've had an Apple TV at home for several years now. It gets used almost daily. Everything from Netflix and Youtube, to screen sharing from my iPhone, iPad, or MacBook Pro. Now I've installed three of these at our church. We hook them to TV's in Sunday School rooms so the teachers can project class announcements, lesson outlines, music, pictures, or videos. The teachers mostly use iPad's to do this. It works incredibly well, and looks very professional. And now that the Apple TV is so cheap, it makes it that much better! I highly recommend the Apple TV for your home or in a business or classroom setting.

Bought this for my daughter so she can watch movies on her TV off her Ipad. This was easy to install an worked perfectly. Also easy to transfer to another TV as well.

I use this for my lesser used tv. Don' have to pay to rent addition cable box and can access enough viewing options to entertain myself. Easy to use and good picture quality. Good choice if you don't need the bells and whistles of the newer version available.

I really like the fact that it talks to other Apple products, so I can stream content from my iPad to the TV using the Apple AirPlay function that Apple TV supports.

I originally had Chrome cast, but it just wasn't doing anything, so I decided to buy Apple TV. I am glad I did, because it is so easy to use, and so incredibly useful!

We weighed the pros and cons between the other devices but in the end we decided this was the best option for us to turn our older flat screen TV in the bedroom to a smart TV. The reason why we went with the Apple TV is because we're already an "Apple family" with: Airport Extreme, iPhone's, MacBook Air MacBook Pro. So it was quite easy to get all setup and running. I also like that it turns on pretty quickly. Another reason is because of price. We were able to get refurbished one. The only 2 things that I'm a little disappointed about it was that I was hoping to stream videos from my computer to the TV but there's a quite noticeable lag. It might be the fact that I was trying to stream from an older MacBook Pro because the girlfriends's MacBook Air was able to. I also don't like the UI with Netflix. I like how Netflix looks and works on other devices like on our Wii U.

I purchased the Apple TV because it was easier to use then the blue ray player I have. Its wifi connected which makes life easier. All the apps that I use to watch all my shows are on it: Hulu, Netflix, HBO GO, etc. When I get my own place, I'm not going to need cable anymore. Defiantly a money saver if all the shows you watch are on one of the apps that are provided on this device! On top of all the apps, you can also use iTunes radio and if u connect your iCloud account, you can look at all of your pictures on tv. Its the best tv connecter out there! I've done the research and I now own it. The Best!!!
